Is course video + google doc still the best way?
I've noticed this pattern Is it still the best way to help your members to pair a video with a google doc? Thoughts?

@Tristram Samoa Downloads are so good even though I thought they were just basic like “who would want a simple google doc” the act of giving it as a gift triggers something in the mind of the customer

@Marcin Hakemer-Fernandez I think google docs are still better even if it says the same thing on the page
Evolution to $10,000/month
We’ve seen hundreds of people in The Skool Games crack $10k/month. Here’s the evolution they typically take: // Level 1: Member Creators start as consumers. Action step: Start by joining 3 groups you’re interested in // Level 2: Top Contributor Great creators start as obsessed consumers. MrBeast obsessed over PewDiePie, then created his channel. Video game creators played video games non stop, then created their own. If you want to build a successful Skool, start consuming successful Skools. Action step: Show up daily, help people, build relationships // Level 3: Free Group Owner When you spot an opportunity, start your free group. Action step: Start your free community Action step: Invite people you’ve connected with Action step: Learn what people want // Level 4: Making Money Opportunities for income will start presenting themselves. Become an affiliate, start a paid group, find a gig as a community manager, become a growth operator, start coaching, or offer a done-for-you service. Action step: Look for opportunities to make your first $1 // Level 5: Full-time Making money is hard, until it’s easy. That's when you find something that works. When it’s easy, go hard. Congratulations! You have earned the freedom to work from home, or anywhere you want in the world doing what you love. Action step: Quit your job and go full-time online // Level 6: Skool Games Winner Most people go wrong by trying to go from member to Skool Games winner. This only works if you already have a built up reputation like a YouTube channel, big audience, email list or something else. Make sure you follow the evolution. Don’t skip steps. Action step: Stay up to date with the latest Skool Games Training until you win // Level 7: $100k MRR Some people could be content winning the Skool Games and going full time online. But for the ambitious, you could keep scaling to the ultimate $100k/month. // Where are you on the Skool Evolution board? Where are you trying to go?

The 4 Things to Focus on when Growing Your Skool
Conversion Ascension Retention Engagement I follow this 4 step approach to every community I work on. It just makes it easier to think. Skool gives you the data on the about page, if you have lots of traffic but low signups, you have a conversion problem. Fix it. If you have members joining at low ticket, but no ascension. Change it and offer them something because they will buy more. If you have members running away every month, you have a retention problem. Go through the steps of adding a retention video and work on your onboarding to increase your LTV. And if your group feels boring it's probably because it is. Work on being more personable and watch that community thrive baby. IYKYK

👋🏼 Welcoming New Members
What if when a new member joined your community, we had the option to show a popup video welcoming them personally and telling them how to get started? Help them get off on the right foot, eliminate the need for a pinned post at the top attempting to do that, and gives a personal touch right off the bat (especially for paid) What would everyone think about something like that?

Would be cool like when you start a new video game and its like “move the joystick to the left to do xyz” “press x to jump!”
MRR on the skool games leaderboard
Has anyone figured out a way to have your outside payments process through Skool? I mean like integration-wise? I really don’t want to create another community for high ticket clients, it doesn’t make sense for my niche at the moment to separate my community. But I hate that every time I get a payment from someone it’s not showing for the games 😂🤣 (yeah I wanna be on the board!!)
