Question about Community Categories
Now that my first Skool community has its costs covered (yay!), this morning I created my free Skool community. I've been put in the pets category, which is kind of good, as I'm already ranked number 10 in this. But .... It's a yoga with pets community, do you think I should request to switch it to another category? If so, which one? Thank you. 🙏

@Christina Laidlaw my 2 cents stay in the pets section, furry 4 legged friends rule, lol, but you will find pet loving yogis, its like a flip and that could be epic af!
New Discovery algorithm update
Now we show the top 5 groups from every category on the homepage in random order. This gives groups from all categories a better chance of being discovered. Plus it's more fun. We used to rank all groups globally, now we rank them per category. We tried a new algorithm, but as many of you pointed out, it wasn't very good. We reverted to the original algorithm. Thank you for your feedback. Our intention is to make things better, and we did, but we had to make things worse for 24h to get there. Sorry about that. More detail in the video. Enjoy!

Seven-Day Free Trial: What Actually Happens Behind the Scenes?
Okay, so I’m excited to see the buzz around the new seven-day free trial now available for our communities! I’ve got a few questions, and I thought, if I’m wondering about this, maybe others are too. So here goes! If this has been covered somewhere, this could be a great spot to clarify and share ideas. First off, what actually happens when someone clicks the seven-day free trial? Do they have to enter their payment details right away? And after the seven days, does it automatically deduct from their bank? Will they get reminders, or are they just charged after the trial? I’m asking because I can see how people might forget and then come back asking for refunds—and let’s be honest, none of us want that. We want people to stay and get value, not feel blindsided by an unexpected refund charge. So, how are people working around this? And does anyone know the logistics of how it actually flows? Second, when does it make sense to use a free trial, and when doesn’t it? For one of my mid-ticket communities, I’m thinking of using a free trial as a one-time event—not an evergreen option, but more as a launch strategy. The idea would be to open it up for a limited seven-day free trial period, get a large group in at once, make it a high-value, high-energy week, and give them solid reasons to stay on after the trial ends. And then, maybe a countdown or reminder like, “Your free trial ends on XYZ” to help with retention. So those are my ideas! Would love to hear strategies, thoughts, and game plan. Preview Classroom Please?
I would love to be able to have the option to preview what my classroom section looks like from a user perspective without needing another account or someone to screenshot and send it to me. This would allow me to see which ones are set to private, level unlock, annual upgrade, time unlock, or already viewable. Helping me see what members see would also help when I'm trying to explain something to them. Like toggle or something.
