Want more engagement in your community?
Let’s go over some easy ways to get your engagement flowing in a positive direction. 👇🏻 Drop your struggles, or if you have tips and tricks drop those too, so we can all grow! Struggling getting peeps engaged when they are coming from other platforms? Make sure you • Have a start here module • Have questions set up if it’s a free space • Ask them in the auto dm to download the ap Those three things are imperative, because the questions will give you specifically what to post on if you ask what their biggest struggle is and what their dream goal is. Downloading the ap and a start here module help them get the lay of the land here in this new to them space so they know what’s what, and the ap is key for mobile users coming to this space. You have peeps in your space but no one is engaging, or they might engage with your posts but not with each other? Check out this post to see if you need to switch how you are posting from I centered to community centered. Then try having some fun and posting things that require low effort engagement… i.e. leaving GIF responses or a photo. You can tweak it to be niche related as well • post a photo of your workspace • weekend plans • wins post • GIF describing how you feel about _____ Then you can also think about making sure you have things behind the leaderboard levels you peeps actually want, it may not be more classes 😉 If you don’t know what they want… ask them. If they aren’t in the community engaging, dm them… if they haven’t been on the platform since they joined try emailing them or finding them on other platforms to find out what’s going on and what they most want and put that in the skool community. When you are first building your space, it can be tricky and more work, don’t let that stop you. Dig the fuck in and keep going, I promise it’s bloody worth it 🚀

Awesome wisdom nuggets as always @Sarah Hankins
An idea for you- Create a community roadmap🚙🗺️
Here is an idea for a community roadmap. I couldn't https://www.loom.com/share/70391ac61bd44b2d8ec588350c4dd79c?sid=3ff375f7-b805-46cf-9bf9-1fa5969620d5t find any good examples of what I had in mine, but maybe it will help you to organize your community, and help your members find what they need! PS- would love a messaging feature or group feature or area like facebook groups (free) to host chats, videos and image comments within a course program. ( not just make another paid community. Like an add on feature like messenger group threads or telegram, so I don't have to leave the platform to host course. Thank you

@Angela Neufeld this is awesome! I could see you creating this with a 'loom' video of you walking your community through your roadmap.

Timezone post activity issue
Well I had my fire emoji for 1 or 2 days. Then today I just lost it. It's 730pm mountain time USA and I also checked my skool settings and I do have Denver USA which is my timezone correctly. But you can see in the screenshot that it's already moved me from Thursday to Friday even though I should still have 5 hours to post for today. Since this happened i did t get 10 activities for thursday and lost my fire icon. Thoughts?

To Leaderboard or Not - Request to Choose
In Skool we have the option to use or not use the 'Calendar' and 'Classroom' tabs which is greatly appreciated. As I build my Skool Community my request is to have the same option for 'Leaderboards'. I would appreciate the ability to not use the 'Leaderboard' tab if I feel that it is best for my community. The additional request would be to have the option of choosing the point system within the 'Classroom' rather than having to choose the 'default' option that is currently in place. Within my Skool community the main goal is transformation within the Classroom offerings and live events and not the 'Leaderboard' in its current form. With the growth and success of the Skool platform it creates many more communities that people may choose to be a part of. Which could then create less time to be active in communities going forward. Because we all know that time is finite each day. I believe that it is up to me to create a community that members want to contribute to but at the same time I want to create transformation and have an awesome MRR/ARR. With my ask this will create the opportunity to have each Skool community creator/paying customer to have the ability to tailor their communities more specifically. Furthermore, the outcome would creator many more 'Happy Skoolers' who will then promote Skool that much more. So, it is a win/win for us all. The main reason why I did not sign up for Skool sooner was because of the experiences that I was seeing in other Skool communities within the 'Leaderboards'. Some very active and some like Zombieville'. At first it is "Kool to Be in Skool' but then it is not as 'Kool' after Level 5+. If I wouldn't spend time to be the 'Mario of Skool Level' jumping then why would I make my Skool Community members do that? I did join Skool when I did because I decided 'it is what it is' and now that I have further experienced other Skool Communities and I am building my own this request is that much more important to me. If I am requesting this I am sure there are others that would appreciate this option being implemented as well!

@Sergio Salgado Thanks very much! As a community owner I would like to be able to either decide not to have the 'Leaderboard' tab (like Skool currently has with the 'Classroom' and 'Calendar') as part of my community and/or be able to choose the 'point system' for my community members to progress from Levels 1 to 9. I want to be able to be as effective as possible with the transformation opportunities of my community now and into the future. The current 'default point system' is that we all need to follow is not working for me and is preventing me from fulfilling my Skool community goals and I do not want to spend time creating work arounds. Thanks very much!!

Is there a way to embed a custom AI bot into a community?
We have a developer who's created a custom AI bot for our community that will be able to connect members with similarities, which is hugely valuable for our members. Is there a way to embed a bot into the community without requiring members to click out of Skool to access it? Or does it have to be via a link to an external location? EDIT TO ADD: We want it to live in the classroom under a course page - not be hanging out engaging in the community. We want people to be able to engage with it without them having to click off the Skool platform. Has anyone done this in their community? 🤔
