just refunded a high ticket client 💰 here's why:
it's okay to refund/ban clients you don't want to work with. consider it an investment in your peace of mind, and a way to hone in your niche. just for context: we only work with clients we know we can get results for. typically, our best clients are Contentpreneurs who want to upload content and get high ticket clients, like Tori (video below). and our entire goal with each client is to get a success story from them to prove that what we do actually works. ideally $10,000/month within 90 days. but sometimes it's less, and sometimes it's a lot more. but after my first 1 on 1 session with this client today i knew I could not get him results. his mindset was the exact opposite of my top clients. so i straight up told him: "dude I'm going to have to end this conversation now, send you back your money, and end this relationship." he was surprised. he asked me to explain why. here's why i ended the relationship and refunded him: 1) this client could not answer simple questions like: "what do you need help with right now?" instead he would laugh hysterically and say: "I don't f**king know!" i asked him a few more simple questions like this and he kept giving me the same answer as above. 2) he openly (and proudly) refused to take responsibility for his actions. he would say "it's on you to make sure this works, Ted, not me!" 3) he asked me for a guarantee that would say: "Make $20,000/month within 90 days despite not having an offer, not having an audience, and not having any online experience or your money back!" he could not wrap his head around the fact that my team & I can't control what actions he takes. and even if we could hypothetically control everything he did... we can't control what his prospects are going to do 😂 if people are going to pay him... that's on them. not him, and not us.
