Matthew Thompson asked me this question a couple months ago.... And I gave him a crazy answer... "Max Perzon" I then proceeded to gush for 10 minutes about how much I loved skool and how cool it would be to write for someone that was helping to grow the platform. Turns out Max was in the room. And Matthew said, "We're going to introduce you to him." After a moment of panic and I walked up and shook his hand. Its been crazy cool contributing to his brand however I can sense then. Moral of the story? Figure out who your dream client is, because they might just become your real client. I didn’t know what copywriting was 2 months ago. One day, I saw that @Patrice Moore was hosting a webinar and decided to join. Little did I know that decision would change my entire life. I was immediately hooked. The way she talked, what she said, how confident she was, and how much she had achieved in such a short period of time… I KNEW I wanted to work with her. So I booked a call with her the next day and she closed the sale. After that, I started writing copy EVERY SINGLE DAY, following the advice and templates she gave me. A couple days later, I found out she was going for the Skool Games that month, and I had a proposition for her: I could work for her FOR FREE and help her with the new clients she was bringing in. And that would also mean that I would learn A LOT from actually doing the thing I wanted to get better at! A win win situation. She immediately told me to get on a call and we agreed how we would work together. For the next few weeks, I busted my ass off and provided as MUCH value as I could FOR FREE consistently. Until one day she decided to hire me as part of her team. Why am I telling you all this? To prove that IT IS POSSIBLE. No matter where you come from, no matter who you are, no matter how much experience you have…. IT IS POSSIBLE. I come from a Latin American country where money is worth nothing. I’ve worked for as little as $2 an hour. But I’ve always known I was destined for something bigger. Thank you Patrice for believing in me! This is just the beginning.

This message will only relate to about 1% of people.... Growing up I was taught to be happy with what I have. Ambition was confused for pride. You weren't supposed to dream too big, or it meant that you were greedy. What I've realized as an entrepreneur, is that money is a measurement of value. Value added to the world. And that means dissatisfaction is a powerful tool. Don't get me wrong tho. You should always seek out the good in every situation, look for the positives, and bet on the best outcome coming true. Don't be a pessimist. BUT When it comes to your work. Or at least when it comes to MY work.... I personally will never be satisfied. There will never be an amount of money that I "retire" at... The thought sounds horrible. And I've never been happier than in the last 6 months. 6 months ago $10k was crazy. But then you hit it and the goal doubles. I've worked 12-18 hours a day, 7 days a week for 7 months now. I don't remember the last time I took a day off. And every day, the measurement of how good the day was, is based on how hard I worked. Not the money, not how much fun I had, but how hard I worked. Is this relatable to most people? I hope not. Because most people don't achieve great things. 1% of people do. Measure yourself by the work you put in.
