A new social network - new opportunities!
Hey guys, just quickly wanted to talk about Bluesky. There is a new social network that is currently trending like crazy and reached 15 million users just two days ago. Now, you may think that too many social networks aren't a good idea to be and that you are cool with just one or two of them already, ... and generally I agree, the less distractions, the better it is. However, keep in mind that social networks can always be split up into three simple categories: - 9:16 content - 16:9 content - text That's it. If you got a piece of 9:16 content below 60 secs, you can share it as: - Instagram Reel - YouTube Shorts video - TikTok post If you got a piece of text, you can share that to: - Facebook - Twitter/X - Bluesky - Threads - LinkedIn You get the idea. So whenever you have a piece of content, make sure to share it as on many platforms as possible because every little post is a new opportunity leading to potential new gigs, collaborations or business relationships. Now, we got Bluesky and it is basically, let's say, a welcome alternative to the Twitter, that, sadly, isn't Twitter anymore. Why should it matter in general? A fresh social network is a perfect platform to build a huge follower base, because the algorithms are new, meaning your content will automatically reach more and new people. During my time studying at the LACM in Los Angeles, one of my teachers, Linda Taylor said the following: Whenever you send out CDs (yes, back then this was the application medium of choice), put as much information about yourself as possible: Your name, phone number, pager, email address, postal address, everything! Now, today, 25 years later, the same applies to social networks. Be on as many as possible. The developer, the company, the client, the customer you may miss on Facebook or Instagram, may be around and open to your content on LinkedIn or TikTok ... and now, Bluesky :) Feel free to share your Bluesky Accounts here 👇 Here is mine: alexpfeffer.bsky.social

26k views in my first reel - The 300 Rule
I just want more people to enage with my content, so i start the 300 rule. This has gotten me 26k views on my first reel, and we're just getting started! It consist off: -100 min on creating content -100 outreaches per day (DM people) -100 comments per day (Comment on other people post, communities.....etc) There is so much more work to do, but we are getting traction🔥🔥 TIP: When creating content focus more time on the Hook. Use the rule of 80/20. It means that if u spend 1 hour creating content, 45 min goes to creating the hook and 15 min goes to the rest of the video. Hope this help💪💪

Share your socials (IG, Spoti, FB...)
Over the last weeks I've contacted some fellow composers on this community and I've had a blast hearing what they produce and how they do it. Aditionally it kinda schooled the algorythm into "this is the kind of profiles I want you to show me", and I'm getting more media composer profiles suggestions. I make this post for everyone that wants to share their socials and compile them in case anyone, like me, is interested in knowing better the work of this community! Knowledge and music is one of the few goods that grows when it's shared!

Experiment on advertising on social media - I need your swarm knowledge.
Hey everyone! I’ve been advertising my new online course about "promoting and marketing tracks" across different social networks, and now I'm curious to see where it's showing up and how far free advertising really goes. If you happen to come across my ad anywhere, could you please drop me a quick note to let me know (maybe in the comments here)? I’m also planning to share the insights and analytics from this experiment so we can all learn and grow together! Thanks so much in advance – your support means a lot. Cheerio, Michael

Album release and social campaign analysis
Hi guys, Time to celebrate! 🎉 After years of work, I'm finally releasing Iris Prime, a prog metal album (hopefully first of a long series). You can listen to it here: https://youtu.be/Q5sqLQMqjjY?si=vlWShXG2Sr4TiVzx Following Alex's course, I launched a 30 days social campaign to promote the album before its release. Hours of making videos, and a post each day around 1pm (I should have changed this on weekends though). 📺 A few numbers now that it's over: total views (best video) 🧠🤓 YouTube: 370 (249) TikTok: 16200 (803) Facebook : 3266 (887) Instagram: 69 (6) X: 783 (104) LinkedIn : 457 (23) Total: 21145 (1233) The most successful video was a picture of the guitarist, who shared it with his massive pro musicians network. 🎸 The lyrics video and the drums session cam worked quite well too. 🥁 And I found out some videos where never posted on X despite doing it everyday, strange... 🤔 If you're curious and want to pick some ideas💡, you'll find all the shorts here: https://youtube.com/@yannmachurey3729?si=4O4c2LlQRKMCOG_R And of course, any constructive feedback on the album or the campaign are welcome! ❤️
