Question regarding “Free trial + 3 Questions”
Does anyone by chance know if you have your community as paid with the free trial feature turned on and 3 questions enabled —do member requests still need to be approved? —if so, when does the 7’day trial Start? Is it from when the member first requests to join OR is it when they are accepted in? Maybe a silly question but I figured I’d ask anyway…

@Jenna Ostrye oh thanks Jenna…the returning is great to know. I was hoping there was a way to capture email still for someone joining a paid/free trial group. Is there a way you know of that you’re able to capture emails for paid members?

New Feature: Delete With Reason
For users, it's frustrating to get your post deleted and not know why. For admins, it's frustrating to have to constantly explain why you're deleting someone's post. So Skool now has "Delete With Reason"! When you delete someone's post or comment you can now select which rule they broke and even give some additional feedback. If you select a reason or give feedback, the user will be emailed (see below). If you don't select a reason or give feedback, the user will not be emailed. Hope this helps.

An idea for you- Create a community roadmap🚙🗺️
Here is an idea for a community roadmap. I couldn't https://www.loom.com/share/70391ac61bd44b2d8ec588350c4dd79c?sid=3ff375f7-b805-46cf-9bf9-1fa5969620d5t find any good examples of what I had in mine, but maybe it will help you to organize your community, and help your members find what they need! PS- would love a messaging feature or group feature or area like facebook groups (free) to host chats, videos and image comments within a course program. ( not just make another paid community. Like an add on feature like messenger group threads or telegram, so I don't have to leave the platform to host course. Thank you

Awesome stuff!
Implement Top Contributor(s) Categories (A How-To)
Building on my post from yesterday: https://www.skool.com/community/appreciate-those-that-show-up This is what you can do to start highlighting your top contributors in your community. Create 2 new categories •Creator of the month (make it admin posts only) •Member shoutout (make it open) – this category is great to have just to encourage members shouting out one another ––––––––––––––––––––––– ––––––––––––––––––––––– ⭐️For 'Creator of the month' you're going to do this⭐️ 1/ Reach out to the top member in the number 1 spot after 30 days and DM them this: "Hey [NAME]!! You're at the top of the list for the month of [MONTH]🔥 I want to give you a special shoutout and highlight a project or anything you are working on. Is there anything in particular you want people to know about you that i can mention?" 2/ Write a post highlighting the member. If it's your first time doing it say something like: "I’m excited to announce that we’re starting a new tradition in the community—our Creator of the Month spotlight! This is the first time we’re doing this, and while we’ve had many incredible members show up over the past few months, I wanted to make it a regular way to recognize the creators who are consistently adding value and engaging with the community. Moving forward, we’ll be highlighting one standout member each month. ////////// For September, I’m thrilled to put the spotlight on [MEMBER NAME]! 🙌 [Proceed to make a short write up about what they shared with you in the DM and have this as unique opportunity where you include outgoing links to their community, newsletter, or whatever project/channel they are working on.] Let’s keep the momentum going! And for everyone else, your name could be here next month! Keep showing up, engaging, and contributing to this amazing community. You never know—you might be the next Creator of the Month in the spotlight! ////////// 3/ Add their photo, a photo of their project, and a fun GIF to spice it up😄

Appreciate those that show up!👏🏾
This is just a small reminder that even if engagement isn't sky-high in your community, it’s still worth taking a moment (at the very least at the end of each month) to appreciate and highlight your top contributors. I just had my weekly community call, where one person was able to show up. I still gave the full presentation I had prepared, and he shared how much it meant to him that I highlighted him last month, as he was at the top of the 30-day leaderboard. His words were: "I never really win anything, so just being highlighted and acknowledged this way means a lot, and I appreciate it." This also reminded me of when I used to practice public speaking in the past, and one important lesson I learned was to never make those who show up feel like their presence and effort aren’t worth it. That’s actually the fastest way to lose all engagement in your community. So all in all I just wanted to end this post by reminding you that highlighting people does so much for their confidence and morale because they feel seen and valued. ////////// How often do you recognize and highlight top contributors in your community?
