Hey everybody, my name is Jack Hilbun. I'm a real estate entrepreneur and member of the Gator community. I'm a 22 year old college student and business owner and I'm passionate about holistic growth, networking within the real estate and capital market industries. Great to have a PML group
Thank you for setting up a community for lending. There is always things we can learn. I am a PML and new Gator in southeast Michigan, mainly Oakland and Macomb counties.. Can be boots on the ground for you but am not familiar with most Detroit neighborhoods. You really need to know them by street, by block.

Underwriting!
What is underwriting? The most important thing for a lender is to make sure they get all their money back. The second most important thing is to make the best return on their money. It is crucial to figure out what the property you are lending on is worth as-is in order to know the most you can lend on it and be safe. Comment here how comfortable you feel right now 1-10 on your underwriting skills. 1 being brand newbie and 10 being GENIUS level. 🚩DO NOT START LENDING UNLESS YOU FIRST UNDERSTAND HOW TO UNDERWRITE! 🚩
