Mix of practices
My morning practice most days is a mix of sitting with the emotions in the form of the physical sensations in the body and watching them shift, then a surf, then a dance with Lailla's playlist. Finding they work together well to help me stay in the body as much as possible and get through some challenging times. Like the idea of using the stopwatch rather than the timer so I can just go with how long my body feels it needs , 20 minutes of dancing yesterday helped me through a rather flat day otherwise.

@Lailla Sena Thanks - some days it's only 10 minutes, sometimes more, but to me it's the consistency that seems to help as opposed to length of time (i.e. 10 min 5 times a week is better than an hour once a week). I used to also question whether I was moving from my head, or from my body, but what I came to realise was that as long as I'm not "thinking" about my next move and it just comes and I can't make sense of it, that's probably a good sign I'm connecting with the practice from my body. And usually that is the case.
Week 4! Wow it went Quickly!

Week 3
Congratulations on going moving through another week! How was week 2 for you? This week most of us will be starting a new practice adding Sound. This can be a very interesting experience for some of us! I’d love to hear how you feel through these practices! And remember, all is welcome, including weird! Ahahahah Love to you all! Hi, I find the use of sound highly variable, some weeks I find I use it quite a lot, other weeks not much at all, but I do find when I do use it it can feel like a lot is being released / let go of.
Week 1
I found the initial embodiment challenge a vital pillar for me going through a bunch of anxiety and uncertainty in my life at the moment, and I still use the daily 15 minute dance to help get out of my head a bit. My black lab joins in the dance most mornings, gets really excited 😀

Getting started
Hi there, I did Lailla's initial challenge a few months back and am still using it now at least a few times a week to help navigate some turbulent periods of change in my life, I have found them extremely valuable to get out of the logical mind hijacking things and into a more balanced space. Looking forward to exploring the additional tools in this challenge!
