Adding community members
Hi All - missed the webinar today and was curious about the new ways that Skool will allow monetization. Perhaps someone can share what was covered and whatโ€™s coming down the pipeline? ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป My main question is how I can manually add folks to our community as I have a specific use that I think is fairly unique for Skool. I have a coaching business and a software as a service business (same type of biz as Skool). The goal is to combine both of these but the issue I have is that I want all team members of the companies that are in our programs to be able to join and engage as themselves. Currently the only way I can see to do this is to have the community as free (they have to be accepted) and manage the payments through Stripe like iโ€™ve been doing. I would love to support Skool though Skool payments but without the ability to add people manually this isnโ€™t possible. It would be awesome if Skool would allow for managing of your members to be able to add instead of only inviting. Thoughts?

@Thomas Jordan Cheers mate.
What do you offer in your free community?
I have heard many say that they join a free space and itโ€™s just solely a place where the creator is completely focused on sales for their higher ticket offers. Donโ€™t. Do. That. Especially if you are just getting moving in your entrepreneurial gig ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ or you have a small community. You want peeps to feel amazed by the value and benefit they receive in your free space, which then organically leads to talking about how they can get more help, and you show them that this offering will give them even moreโ€ฆ more support, more results, quicker turn around, and more revenue. Check this post out if you think value just more content and classroom ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป What are your tips and tricks you use in your free space that arenโ€™t smarmy, ball swinging tactics that create a great community vibe and also lead to more conversions to your paid spaces almost effortlessly? If you arenโ€™t getting replies like this, it may be time to examine wtf you are actually doing and creating with your free space ๐Ÿ˜‰

Currently we give away week one of our signature program and also use this community for a forum for our software we run (as a service, like Skool).

@Sarah Hankins I took Sam's first signature course, Consulting Accelerator back in 2017/2018 and then joined Uplevel the following year. I was somewhat active in those groups back when they were on FB. When Skool was introduced, it was too early from a capabilities perspective so I kept watching as it developed. It's now at a point where I see a great application for it so I've tuned back into this community to try and see the product roadmap and updates so I can leverage Skool. In terms of my own community, we are just getting started here on Skool but I have been running it in Kajabi for the past couple of years. Kajabi is pretty terrible on the community front but is miles ahead in it's other capabilities which is why I've stuck with it for so long. Really hoping that @Sam Ovens and the Skool team will change how users can be added to Skool so I can shift all of my payments over to Skool. Unfortunately for me I have one payment attached to a company and I want all company members to access Skool to interact and engage as themselves (instead of sharing a login and password between them all which is ghetto lol). Skool just isn't capable of doing this in a paid community at the moment. If anyone has any tips or feedback, I'm all ears! PS: Not sure if I actually answered your question @Sarah Hankins
How do you set up your Skool Classrooms for Maximum Engagement? ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ’ก
Hey yall! ๐Ÿค  Iโ€™m working on setting up my Skool classrooms and would love your input! For those of you who have been doing the online coaching for a while, what type of classes or setups get the most engagement from your community? What seems to help your members the most? There are so many optionsโ€”do you find that recorded videos work best, or do live sessions get more interaction? Maybe a mix of both? Do you offer printed materials, guidebooks, quizzes, or even hands-on challenges to keep things interesting? Iโ€™m super curious to hear whatโ€™s worked for you! Drop your thoughts, ideas, and best practices below so we can all create classrooms that help our communities grow and thrive! ๐Ÿ™Œ Thanks so much! ๐Ÿ˜Š Love it here!

@Veronica Aguilar itโ€™s probably the hardest thing as an entrepreneur to do. Itโ€™s human nature to overthink something when it that time you could have already launched and tried three different approaches!

Discovering Skool Communities...
Hi! I'm Christine. @Brian Campbell invited me to join Skool and holy smokes... the engagement engine is brimming away on here! ๐Ÿฅณ I just started my own community 3 days ago and, yesterday, my group showed up in Discovery already! How old are your communities and how fast did they grow? I'm here to meet high-paid professionals, business owners and other ChangeMakers. Say "hi" and/or tag anybody you know who is here to make an impact.

Hi! Yes Skool is pretty cool. There are other community based platforms out there but whatโ€™s different about Skool is the infectious culture of growth minded individuals.
Free to PAID?
When I change my community from FREE to PAID, will the existing members be charged the new subscription fee at the top of the month?

Related question: I am moving 100 members from Kajabi for my program they've already purchased (fully paid already), and want to add them to our community here. If they want to gain access to our SaaS program, they would need to pay the membership amount on Skool. The issue is, how do you move someone from FREE to PAID if they were brought in under the free invite? @Sam Ovens this would be a great feature to have and would lead to higher conversions. This is different from the idea of having two communities (free and paid) as this is for existing clients coming into the new platform and being able to upsell them into the paid membership.
