(Re) Intro Post
Good afternoon gentlemen. Im long overdue for a introductory post as I rejoined the group a few months back after consulting with @John Rogalsky and setting up a call with Paul. I know some of you but most names I dont recognize so I'll get into a little backstory but most will be about looking forward along with some accountability posts to follow. I dont want to make this so long that guys dont read so if anybody wants me to elaborate more on any section then I will do a breakout post beyond what I write. In making the most out of this group, I encourage EVERYONE to put it ALL out there when discussing these things. You can't make the most out groups like this if the rest of us dont have the full picture when helping decipher the situation. I get that some may have details they dont want to share, but this group should be judgement free and provide tough love at the same time. Thats what we are all here to do - grow together and crush goals along the way. Looking forward to interacting with everyone. I turned 44 in Sept and got divorced a little over 5 years ago (she initiated but I filed). It was a typical marriage in many aspects. We met in our late 20's at work, seemed to have similar goals and enjoyed the same things (probably a little too much). We were married for almost 9 years and have an awesome daughter who I see every week but is still with her mom most of the time. She will be 12 on Nov 20th. Again, I wont get into details to keep the intro post short, but my ex came from a conservative family in south Mississippi and seemed to lean that way herself. We both worked for Lockheed Martin at the time, and she still does. Throughout the marriage we relocated a few times so she could get a promotion into a few different senior manager spots. I believe this is where things changed. she began to hang out with another woman from work pretty frequently until it turned into an affair of some sort (yes, that's not a typo). Pretty sure that she has been brainwashed by the leftist feminist propaganda on all fronts and she turned into a closet feminist of sorts. They now live together and my daughter spends most of her time there.

It'd be my pleasure, @John Rogalsky, thank you for the mention. @Adam Powell, welcome back to the group! As John mentioned, I'm also in the midst of marrying my passion and my career together. Small backstory on me, my job experience after college was in inside and outside sales. It sucked the soul out of me. About 2 months ago, I left that world for an hourly warehouse job that will pay the bills while I use my free time to study up and gain the certifications to make a dent in the health and fitness industry as a trainer. However you prefer, whether posting out in the open or DMing me, I'd love to connect. John was the first guy I connected with (besides Paul, obviously) and has been a blessing ever since. I am not active in the chat as much as when I first joined (an adjustment I need to make. I am focusing on being more action based and less gathering information) but you will often find me in @Paul Benjamin's Zoom calls (when work doesn't conflict), usually asking a question. Best wishes and looking forward to the future, Brother!

@Adam Powell I had NASM a few years back as well. I was not happy at all with what the taught. Informational? Yes, to an extent, but not good at all at demonstrating how to apply that information to a real client.
Been Movin' n Shakin'
Hey, Y'all, hope everyone has been doing well. I know I have been radio silent these past couple of weeks, but for good reason. Allow me to update y'all on what's been going on: Since I last spoke with @Paul Benjamin and the rest of the guys on Zoom, I transferred departments at the company I work at (moved from Inside Sales to working out on the warehouse floor) and couldn't be happier with this choice. My tasks are straight forward and fairly simple, and I feel accomplished completing them. The best part is, unlike sales, the work does not follow me home, which is heavenly. The hours and pay are awesome as well. I work 50-60 hours in the warehouse and can cover all of my expenses while still throwing the extra money into savings/investments/charity/fun spending. Since work doesn't affect my personal time anymore, I know have 10-20 hours a week I devote to studying/recertifying as a Personal Trainer and going through @Paul Benjamin's modules. I'll be certified in 2-3 months; once I have that, I already know where I'll need to apply to acquire a job that will give me the best opportunity to build 1 on 1 training experience with clients (I spoke with several successful personal trainers I know in my area about where to start). Next, I have also had several discussions with my MMA/Boxing coach about future business plans with him, and learning his craft so I can not only condition his fight guys, but also become proficient enough to have me as a coach (This will help me long term because I want to eventually specialize as a trainer of combat athletes). Here is what my weekdays have been looking like: 4-5 AM: Study PT 5-6 AM: Get ready for work 7-5 PM: Work 6:30-8:30: Combat Training, Church classes, or Free Mason practice (Depends on the Day) 9:30-10 PM: Bed Time (If earlier, even better) Saturdays I'll either work Overtime till 5, or if I have social plans already set, I'll take the day off and do those.

@John Rogalsky so there is a way to regress back to medium, damage control, in a sense. Thanks for the advice!

@Andres C That’s exactly what this week is going to be! Giving myself some love back as I still adjust to working more hours. Thank y’all for reiterating this.
Identity & Archetype Exercise
In the space of 48 hours, I have lost my kids and a business partner. Time to forge a new identity. Separation under Japanese law means I can be arrested if I so much as stand outside school to get a glimpse of them playing in the courtyard. I am grieving this abrupt loss. As for the business, sometimes it is better to stay in the friendzone rather than invest time, energy and money. All in all, everything happens for the best. I start with a blank slate. I am becoming the hero I am dreaming of. I am now writing the next chapters of my life. It is time to empty my cup, let go of the bagage and reset. I am grateful the wife pulled the plug as opposed to 6 years later. It would have been tougher to rebuild. I am grateful things did not work out with this business project. Something else will be calling. It all starts from being intentional, getting clarity. There is no better place than this old Japanese thermal spring located in a volcano crater under a typhoon to strip everything and gain clarity

Laurent, I know we've only interacted here and there through various posts, but if you need any help, Brother, please do not hesitate to reach out.

@Laurent Bernut I definitely understand why that can be difficult. It’d be my pleasure to assist in any way I can whenever you feel like reaching out.
Possible to Archive Posts??
Does anyone know if there is a way to save/archive posts made by others in this forum? I've had several great responses to my posts and wanted to know if I am able to save them in a central location.

@Rohith B @John Rogalsky Good calls. 👍🏻
Hi everyone. Charles Yee
Hi guys! Paul was very gracious to invite me to his community. So here I am. Some of you probably have met and know me already. I've IRL met Paul, John Rogalsky, and Garen. I'm roommates with Vic who's a member. I met Paul through Rich Cooper. I am a fairly active participant on Rich's community. About me: 45yro, divorced. My current gf is Belarusian 13yr my junior. I work in tech, currently a VP of engineering at an IPO company that's worth $7bil. I also run my own contracting company on the side. My work focuses on data science, machine learning, and AI/LLM. I specialize in the healthcare industry. If you have question about cutting edge tech in the area, feel free to ask me. Life-wise I live in Nashville, but plan on moving in Q1-Q2 2025 abroad. I spin plates for a while after my divorced 4 years ago. But have been settled to a string of more exclusive relationship the past 2 years. They are all Eastern Europeans, as I like them. I don't date or interact much with American women. I drive a Porsche Boxster GTS and have 2 Ducati's (Multistrada and Streetfighter). I am an avid shooter, motorcyclist. I also practiced Iaijutsu for over a decade. Right now I spend my hobby times dancing Salsa and Argentine Tango. I also throw regular parties for the local dance communities. The last one we had 60+ in attendance, Spenser (another guy from Rich's community, may or maynot be here) and Garen were gracious to come as well. Rich always asks people "on a scale of 1-10 how would you rate yourself?". For me it's 8.5-9/10. Life is going well. Money, fitness, relationships, I have been working hard to constantly set new standards for myself. If I quit drinking I'd probably be a 10. But everyone has his own vices (lol). One of my interests is to help fellow men with red pill views. So I will chime in from time to time on subjects I'm familiar with. You can also find me on IG@Tango_Ducatista Nice to meet you all and glad to be here!
