Journal and meditation for 11/19
I spoke with @John Rogalsky today and he asked me about progress. During the convo I stated that focus or trying not to in the case of "no-minded" meditation has been the biggest struggle. During meditation, stuff inevitably pops into my head, but usually menial stuff like errands i need to run, my workouts, etc. We both have had talks with Paul as well and came to the same conclusion. This stuff takes time to master, just like anything else worth doing. Mainly as Ive stated before, early on this is still about building the habits to make them behaviors and trusting the process and plan. I've really enjoyed the post meal walks especially and try to just "let go" a bit and let my mind drift, coming up with ideas and being generally more positive about the future.

Journal and visualization 11/16 - 11/17
I've stuck to the morning routine of waking up and within about 10 minutes doing some visualization or meditation. I've used audio aids and just swapped between Theta waves or an "Om" chant I've found on youtube. Still working on clearing my thoughts for the meditations. For the visualization I've also been working on doing the work along the way and making the right choices. Not just the end state. Similar to what is common practice among athletes and I believe Paul mentions it in the video where a study was done. One group of students only visualized making a good grade and/or the end state and the emotions involved with the outcome. The other group of students imagined studying and doing the work. More focus on the practice portion than the end state. The students who visualized the practice and studying got better grades than the other group. So, my thought here is to focus on working on and fixing things along the way as well as that vision for where I'd like to be. I also meditate or do visualization the sauna at the gym about 4-5 days a week as well as in the tanning bed2-3 times a week. Seems like a very useful time to do it and there is very little distraction in those places. Still continuing to tweak things as far as routine to see what I think is most effective.

I'd say I'm feeling more optimistic in spurts. I spoke with John today and just mentioned that I haven't noticed any one big effect (I know that's not how it works anyway), but building the habit and sticking to the plan will pay off. Trust the process. Im fairly busy this week but Im continuing to develop the habits and play around with the sequence and will likely schedule a call next week to get into the hypnotherapy.
Meditation and vis journal 11/15
Was a little short on time yesterday but I take time in the morning to listen to some Theta waves and catch the sun coming up. Just tried to visualize what I wanted to accomplish for the day and some peak state. The peak state vision has been almost like a panoramic photo. Im in the center, in my best physicial condition, happy and positive. Im surrounded by my LTR and my daughter along with her 2 kids. Behind me is a large contemporary style house, 4 car garage. Then Imagining myself being financially free to where I can travel to several tropical locales every year, a thriving business (not sure what type/industry although I've been gravitating towards home services of several types). Just continuing to try and eliminate the noise and get dialed in to see what comes into focus. Did an afternoon meditation using "Om" chanting just trying to let go of all thoughts. Hasnt been perfect and probably catch myself drifting into thoughts more often than not but consistency hopefully pays off here.

Meditation and visualization
This will be the start of a running log of daily meditation and visualization. Here I'll update about actions, progress, mental blocks, and results. This is an area of very high focus for me right now in order to clear a massive amount of mental "noise" I have with regard to the direction my life is headed. Paul has modules on these items, and for anybody struggling with issues, this could help provide some clarity. As I mentioned I am going to copy journal entries directly from my notepad. I think hand writing them first is a great way to de-clutter your thoughts and almost practice a bit of mindful meditation by writing since we all just type to text now. To me, I retain things better when hand writing them. Day 1 - As of now the clarity for some things in the future non-existent. My plan is to use all these tools day by day to help remove the noise, little by little. This is going to take a lot of practice for me personally because of the amount of thoughts I can have at any one time. I'll implement audio aids such as alpha waves and "om" chanting videos. Along with these I'll be doing several walks a day after meals and in between when I can as well as meditating in place with the visualization exercise.

Day 3 - 11/14. I was a bit busier with work today and didnt have as much time to dedicate to stuff but i did get into some visualization in the morning for 10 minutes. I have been trying to break my usual habit of waking up and using my phone. I dont check socials a ton but i would catch myself checking emails and doing other shit i didnt need to do first thing. So far not doing that is helping. I'll just text my daughter (who doesnt live with me except every other weekend) and my LTR after I've gotten up and done my meditation or visualization work and started prepping to go work out. I also use the sauna at my gym 4-5 days a week for about 10-12 minutes and use that time to listen to alpha waves and visualize or meditate and just focus on what I'd like to accomplish for the day. Last night I also watched the Meditation 101 zoom call recording and then did the meditation with the recording . I found the "what's my next thought" technique a little helpful in trying to clear my thoughts but 3 days in is still a work in progress as I cant go very long without having some random thoughts or thinking about stuff I need to do but still havent done.

When I can actually get in a routine, yeah I'm definitely a morning person. I mostly just need about 10 minutes just to wake up and orient myself, then I can take 10 minutes. I've always just gotten up and gotten ready to hit the gym first thing. Making time for 10 minutes hasnt been difficult since I've started. I think it was mostly me viewing it as a low value add activity to my morning when I want to get moving and go to the gym. But its improved my mindset a bit just in the first few days Ive been doing it.
Texting
What I never see video content from anybody on is the initial text game. I know Corey Wayne says you have to get the ball rolling and then expect the woman to do most of the pursuing. My conundrum is when I match online get a phone number and they are reluctant to reach out. Many of them will flake anyway so I feel like you have to create a bridge until you can actually meet. The bridge meaning daily text may be a picture, something to keep them engaged. Am I wrong on this? And should I sit back and make the woman either text First occasionally or forget about the thread? Again, I’m talking mainly about the few days or week between linking up phone numbers and actually meeting.

Our first inclination (usually because of a scarcity mindset), is to match and instantly start chatting. You need to have a plan. First, get them off the app ASAP. But, you want to start the convo when you know you will have a day or two free to go on dates. Dont start messaging/chatting but not be available for 5 days. If a girl matches and then unmatches after a day because there isnt a response then she wasnt high interest IMO. Once you get her phone number keep the convo to a minimum (logistics only for the most part). Opinions differ on this, but overtexting will get you into far more trouble than undertexting. Under 3 days a text to set the date up and confirm is good. No text second day. Third day, say the morning of or around lunch, just ping her. Something to the effect of "See you at 7, wear a little black dress for me". It can be difficult, but setting up multiple dates a few hours apart can be done so you arent wasting your time if one of them flakes. Again, trying to set up anything further out than 5 days just really increases the likelihood they flake. But girls make time for men they are interested in. So if you suggest a couple dates near term and she declines without suggesting a date herself that's usually a bad sign to begin with. If she does give you options usually that shows genuine interest. Don't get attached to any girl. No texting pics, no hey how was your day, none of that. Save that for the date when she has actually committed. Now one I thing I have done that works very well is during the initial text is ask her for a selfie so you can use it for her contact info. Does she send you a cute selfie with a smile, is the pic old, is she hesitant? I know this can create a bit of dread for some girls but most of them are very open to it and it shows that you are interested.
