Ripening bananas
Hi all. Do bananas ripen faster in the sun? Thank you.

No, bananas definitely will not ripen sooner in the sun, quite the opposite. If you need them to ripen soon, put them in the dark.
Apples
Do apples have a significant place in your 811 regimen ? Do you eat them often, especially in winter ? It did for me in the beginning of my transition, but I noticed for the last three years that I consume them less and less. To the point that today I cannot imagine making a mono meal of apple, as I find usually myself more hungry at the end of the meal than before, and they provoke almost always some kind of stomach ache. At best it is a little snack nowadays... It's far from being a sub-tropical/tropical fruit, maybe that's the reason ? I only go for good organic ones of course, as it's one of the worst spayed fruit. I've also noticed Doug doesn't mention it once in the week of eating examples of the 801010 book. What is your experience ?

The other reason i eat apples is because they are inexpensive. I would much rather eat mangoes or papayas if i could afford them. They taste better and are healthier. When Opal apples are not available i generally don't eat apples because the other varieties don't taste good. Almost all apples make delicious juice, however. So that is one way i might make use of them, if i were drinking juice. But as we know, juice doesn't really enter into this diet much. Right Doctor? Correct me if i'm wrong.

Are there any restaurants that you would eat at? I mean with relative joy and willingly?
What do you eat in a day?
Hi everyone, I’m new here and glad to be part of this great community. Would love if you can share what you typically eat in a day. Thanks!

I won't tell you what I have been eating lately because I haven't been keeping my proper diet. But on an ideal day at this time of the year I will eat one meal of about 20 apples and another meal of about five pounds of grapes. Sometimes I will have some leafy greens with my fruit such as baby bok choy or spinach.
Korea
Has anyone traveled to South Korea? How easy is it to source fruit? What kinds are available in the summer? Thank you!

I wouldn't go to South Korea if I could avoid it. Fruit is very expensive there.

Summer fruits are similar to here in America, watermelon is always good, of course. They are smaller than ours, but not as small as the ones in Thailand.
