How were YOU Introduced to Skool?
At Ascension Automotive we are very big fans of Alex Hormozi, and learned about Skool through him. How did you learn about Skool?

Headlight Restoration
One of the easiest up-sales in the detailing industry is headlight restoration. When walking into a detail, if you notice foggy headlights, pitch your client on a headlight restoration. Explain that this will help the aesthetics as well as the visibility. A perfectly mirrored exterior can be completely ruined by those pesky foggy headlights, but that doesnā€™t have to be the case. Have you ever restored a customer's headlights?

Packages
Not all details are the same, so itā€™s essential to create a variety of packages offering different amenities. Of course you start with your basic interior exterior, but have a high tier package that offers more in depth services, maybe even an interior and exterior polishing, with a coating to top it! Where do you draw a line between ā€œpackageā€ and list it as a niche service?

Role Models
Youā€™re never too ā€œgreatā€ to look up to someone, Even the mentors have mentors. There is always knowledge available and things worth learning. At Ascension we love to watch AMMO NYC for detailing and Detroit Tint Studios for tinting. Any sitting moment is an opportunity to learn, during your next lunch break throw on your favorite creator and see what knowledge you can pick up. Whoā€™s your favorite automotive creator and why?

Preservation Over Perfection
Although restoring a car to perfection is the end goal of a detail, it is not always worth your time. Keep in mind some things will not always ā€˜get outā€™ or be up to your standard. It is better to communicate with your customer the expectations of the services being provided, and what the final product will look like. Being open and up front with your customer will build customer relations and keep trust within your company! How do you go about customer expectations?
