As WOG, it’s so important to cultivate a deep reverence for the Lord and a clear understanding of our identity in Him. Scripture for Reflection “The fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.” (Proverbs 1:7) Understanding the Fear of the Lord Awe and Reverence • The fear of the Lord is about having a profound respect and awe for His majesty and holiness. This reverence helps us recognize our need for Him. Are there areas in your life where you need to surrender to God’s authority? Wisdom and Knowledge • Proverbs 9:10 states, “Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” When we approach God with reverence, we position ourselves to receive His wisdom and guidance. Set time aside time each day to seek His presence and understanding through prayer and reading the word Discovering Your Identity in Christ Beloved Daughters • Remember that you are a daughter of the King! Galatians 3:26 says, “For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.” Embrace your identity as His beloved daughter. What truths about your identity can you declare over yourself daily? Made in His Image • Genesis 1:27 tells us that we are created in God’s image. This means we carry inherent value and purpose. Reflect on how this truth shapes your view of yourself and your calling. Are you living out the identity God has given you? Empowered by the Spirit • As believers, we have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us. Romans 8:11 reminds us that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you! Embrace your identity as a cherished daughter of God, and let this revelation transform your life. When you understand who you are in Christ, you will walk in confidence, knowing that you are loved and equipped for every challenge you face.

You’re justified by your faith 🫂
PRAISE HIM! let’s rejoice in the truth shown through the life of Abraham, a man who became righteous not because of outward signs or rituals, but because of his faith in The Lord. Romans 4:9-12 reminds us that it is not what we do outwardly that makes us right with God, but the faith that lives within us. Abraham was justified before circumcision, showing that God’s promises are for all who believe, whether Jew or Gentile. As the body of Christ, we stand united in this same faith. Our identity in Christ is not based on external markers but on the faith we hold in our hearts. Just as Abraham became the father of all who believe, we too are children of that same promise, walking in the footsteps of faith. Today, let’s be encouraged that our righteousness comes by grace through faith alone. We are accepted, loved, and justified not by works or rituals, but by trusting in the finished work of Christ. Whether we are new to the faith or seasoned believers, this promise is for us all. Let us live boldly, knowing that God is faithful to fulfill His promises to those who believe, and that we are part of a family of faith that stretches across the world, united by the same spirit. We will continue to walk in faith, trusting God to lead us, and embracing the unity we have in Christ. You are loved, accepted, and counted righteous in Him. Be encouraged, the Lord is with us always, and our faith in Him is the foundation that sustains us! Thank you JESUS!

STAND ON TRUTH 🗣️
When you’re under attack mentally and lies seem overwhelming, it’s essential to stand firm on the truth of God’s Word. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:14, “Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth.” This imagery shows us that truth is the foundation we need to hold everything together. God’s truth is our anchor in the storm, and it remains unchanged, no matter what we face. When the enemy tries to plant lies in your mind, such as fear, doubt, or discouragement, remember that you have the power to reject them by relying on God’s truth. 2 Corinthians 10:5 encourages us to “cast down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” This means that whenever false or negative thoughts arise, we are called to capture those thoughts and measure them against the truth of Christ. The enemy thrives on deception, but God’s Word is like a sword (Ephesians 6:17) that cuts through those lies. When you are attacked mentally, declare the promises of Scripture, such as Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Let His Word guide you through confusion and strengthen you to stand firm. By continually immersing yourself in God’s truth and relying on His Spirit, you will stand strong, even when the enemy’s lies try to tear you down.

Romans 2:4 🗣️
“Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?” Romans 2:4 In Romans 2, Paul is addressing both Jews and Gentiles who are guilty of passing judgment on others while neglecting to see their own sin. He stresses that God’s judgment is righteous, impartial, and not based on ethnicity, status, or possession of the Law. In verses leading up to 2:4, Paul confronts hypocrisy, warning that those who judge others but commit the same sins are under God’s judgment. 1. “Riches of His goodness” • Paul emphasizes the abundant kindness (goodness) of God, which includes His mercy and favor toward all people. The “riches” implies the overflowing and generous nature of God’s character. God is rich in grace and continuously offers His goodness, even to sinners. 2. “Forbearance” • Forbearance refers to God’s restraint in withholding immediate punishment for sin. Instead of bringing immediate judgment, God shows patience, giving people time to repent and turn to Him. 3. “Longsuffering” • This term speaks to God’s enduring patience, where He bears with people’s rebellion and sin for a long time. It highlights God’s slowness to anger, offering individuals many opportunities to change their ways. 4. “Not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance” • Paul is reminding the readers that God’s kindness is not a sign of indifference toward sin but is meant to lead them toward repentance. God’s goodness and patience should not be taken lightly or seen as approval of sinful behavior. Instead, His kindness is designed to soften hearts and bring about true repentance—a turning away from sin toward God. Theological Insight: This verse underscores God’s grace and the purpose behind His patience with humanity. Instead of immediately judging sin, God provides opportunities for repentance, showing that He desires all to turn to Him in faith. It rebukes any attitude of complacency or misuse of God’s grace (such as thinking that God’s patience means He will not judge sin) and calls for self-reflection on one’s own sin rather than judging others.
