The Grass Isn't Always Greener on The Other Side (Skool Journey)
When I initially joined Skool, there was some features that weren't available. Then all of a sudden it was. I was on a roll with my first FREE community, but then decided to go paid because: 1. I didn't want to split my time between 2 communities 2. I wanted to put everything into one place (which some of my previous followers had paid for) During this time, I wasn't able to add people into paid one-time course areas (now that has changed of course). Then during my paid community of course traffic slowed down. Then the payouts took longer somewhere between 8-14 days before funds were released. Not to mention the bank takes a couple more days before funds are fully available. I personally didn't like this hold up on my funds. I also couldn't and still can't offer membership tiers. So, I did what I thought would be better. I left and went to Circle. All I can say, is that I couldn't even stay on Circle for an entire 2 weeks, before I came back to Skool. Circle was great from an admin perspective and with all the bells & whistles.... BUT and that's a BIG BUT - their mobile experience sucked! Admins do not have the ability to take care of administrative tasks via mobile which is highly important for me. Also, the engagement was different from Skools. I asked the few members that transitioned over how they felt about the UX (User Experience). They felt Skool was better in that regard. So, here I am BACK and proud to be back on Skool. Even though Skool, might not have all the bells & whistles, yet.... they are keeping the user experience in mind. It also feels like Skool was made with a mobile first approach, unlike the other platforms out there. I say this because, when you're growing a community to help others, even though another platform might sound good to you and easy for you to use... You always need to keep your Audience front and center. You have to have what's BEST for them in mind. - Not just thinking about what's best for you, but for them.

@Jacob Lewis Thanks, just try and build an interested party list for before even going paid. There's no need to go if not enough people are interested yet.

@Rebecca Claxton thank you and you’re so right they are very good about pleasing us 💕
Sales page Vs direct to Skool?
So far I’ve been running ads directly to Skool and results are pretty decent but it’s early days and would love to know if people are seeing better results using sales pages or direct to a Skool group and having a vsl in the about section?

FINALLY!!!! I'm so freakin' happy right now I don't know what to do 🙏🔥🎉
The New One-Time Course Payment Option
I had people in the paid course on the free plan because they paid through my processor prior to this integration. Now I want to set it for new people and it’s kicking the other people out who have already paid and I have no way to add them back other than turning off this new option. We should have the option of putting people in manually to bypass the payment.

@Jeremy Ta'kody input their email where? Because when I go under the member settings to choose the course for them it’s grayed out.

@Jeremy Ta'kody they are already in the group. Maybe I’m not being clear. The one off course option that’s now available in the course. A member has already paid prior to this option being available. I’ve updated it to do the one time price and it kicked the other people out. It’s saying they have to pay, and I have no way of opening up that one course for them manually. I don’t want them to pay again for it. So I switch it back to only members who I give access to, but the new members won’t be able to buy within Skool.

Can't seem to share unlisted YouTube live links anymore

What helped me was not using the share link directly because of the “live” that’s in the link. You’ll need to click on the actual video as though you want to watch it and then copy the link from the url address bar directly and use that link instead. Try that and see if it works for you. I hope it helps. 💕
