What if the real MRR is the friends we make along the way?
@Jack Roberts and @Adam Luke are two friends behind a $100k/month AI community on Skool. In this episode, we talk about: - The power of hosting in-person meetups - Using leaderboards to supercharge engagement - And how they cut their churn in half Check it out. 👇🏼

@Karen Anne Hope Andrews Same here! glad for the opportunity and our connection from this community!
Would love to see a better way to onboard members :)
Really been thinking about the member onboarding experience with skool. It would be cool to see an 'onboarding wizard' that took them through your community without having to use valuable realestate elsewhere. Dropped some more thoughts in the video below 👇 Would you want to see this?

When a new member joins my community, he instantly gets an email (posh notification) in the email its a video of me showing what will happen in the next 10 hours (the longest that takes me to accept him) I'm talking about the community, showing the welcome post explaining how important is to comment there and showing the classroom. basically setting expectations and giving them actionable steps. yeah its not exactly happening in the moment they join for the first time but I found it did boosted engagement of newer members So thats you wiz I guess, try it @Ryan Duncan

@Omari Bookal haha yeah its so weird but I sometimes people put a picture of a beautiful white girl, super generic name, no links to SM, adding European country in the description but forgets to hide the real county in the profile. talking like a VA.. sus

@Sarah Richardson Its so weird I know.. but I've experienced it at least 4 times
3 steps that increased engagement of new members
Before, people would join, and I'd never hear from them a single word no matter how hard I tried to engage with them. Implemented those and engagement went up! 1. Added one extra step to my nurture flow: Before: Flow starts 15 min after someone joins, I'm shooting an email with all perks and stuff inside the community (they probably aren't accepted so the links don't work leading them to nothing. After: Flow starts immediately, I've recorded a short video outlining what they should expect and which steps they must take when Ill accept them (pumping them up). The next email after 10 hours is the "before" email with now working links. 2. Qualification questions: Before: asked only for email, accepted everyone After: added more questions, asking about the reason for joining (so I'll have a reason to reach out, thanks to. 3. Welcome post: I've created valuable and fun welcome post, value is for them to consume and fun to engage, (e.g. - comment on your favorite pizza topping, members replying to others with their favorites, or how "friendly discussed" they are) I DMed every member no matter how long they've in the community to comment under the post. [also I am trying something new, I'm giving access to a course earlier for those who are replying to other members --> "look for a comment with a pizza topping you'll love to share and let the other member know it, pizza partyyy!"] What have you done to boost the engagement of new members inside your community?

Changing URL for the second time
When you are starting your own community for some reason random (or not) digits are attached to your URL, right at the start I removed those and used my "Change URL only once" After a few months, I feel like I want to change the name, I feel like my current name drives the right people away and brings the wrong people in because the content inside is different now. Has someone else experienced the same issue? What have you done to overcome it?
