My biggest trouble so far is pretty much any chord to C. My index finger finds the B string okay but I just can’t seem to place the middle and ring fingers in time.

Hi, all. I’m Gerry, from Kansas City, MO. I am 70 years old and just retired the end of July after 43 years at a local TV station. I got my first electric guitar in May of ‘23 and my first acoustic in November of ‘23. I have been working on chord changes with great difficulty but am really drawn to fingerstyle. I would like to be able to play Shady Grove and Freight Train as well as many others.
