Struggling with Poche? Here’s Your 5-Minute Fix!
This week, I dove into a great question from one of our community members @Phil Vanderloo about using the fill feature in Morpholio Trace to fill (poche) πŸͺ£ a wall. Here are the key takeaways: 1. Check your layers: If you’re stuck, you might have accidentally activated a single layer. 2. Seal it up: Make sure the area you’re trying to fill is fully enclosedβ€”no sneaky gaps! 3. Adjust the fill tolerance: Tweak it for that perfect fill. 4. Lower the paper opacity: Turn the poche layer’s opacity down to zero for this to work 5. Mind your layers: If no layer is active, you’ll be drawing on the top one by default. That’s it! Henry

@Michael Ulm its because you have the top layer activated. Double click to unhighlight so it can recognize layers below as reference.

A Mountain Perspective
Greetings everyone, here’s a new perspective image I’ve been working on. I’m liking the style that this image has, developed from my previous set. I struggled with the placement of entourage quite a bit, so let me know if you see anything I could improve!

@Ron Sieh Wow, this is incredible! I’m really impressed with how you’ve articulated the trees in the background. It’s coming together beautifully. The only thing that’s been bugging me a bit is the direction of the shadow. It’s a bit hard to tell where the sun is coming from. If you had trees in the foreground with shadow casting on the ground, that would make this even more believable and make it a more compelling composition.

Kyoto from an architects journey…
Currently my right hand is inoperative due to surgery, but it does allow me to look back on past drawings and find some jewels. Here is a very simple but effective illustration from Kyoto. This was created with an app from Adobe that has been discontinued much to my dismay.
