I try to join online spaces that my client avatars are already hanging out in. And then I just act like a real person and offer help when I can! Sometimes I can’t help, but at least I’m visible and friendly and someone they start to get to know! Would love to know how you do it @Jared Orr !

Hi everyone! If anybody has any feedback, I'd be so grateful to hear from you. I know many of you have experience in this area and I'd like to learn as much as possible as I build my start-up. As a lead magnet, we decided to send our photography out to local shops, ask if he can take a picture of any of their products, which we will then turn into kick-ass social media ads, and send to the company in hopes that they become future clients. Is this a good idea? Is there a more effective solution? What results do you think this will yield?

But to be clear selling is important - the goal is to make money - it’s more a shift in how to approach that sale. Realistically you need a decent sized team to increase volume for cold outreach. Warm leads are going to convert at a higher rate which allows you to keep your team lean(er).
