Protein
Trying to get my head around eating 2g of protein per kg of body weight. I think I have been eating closer to 1g per kg and I like meat! I have started having protein shakes again and am going to add in some low fat cottage cheese. What else are people using to get to 2g per kg?

The easiest thing I find is eating cans of tuna. The yellowfin brand from Woolies (which Phillip has recommended before) is great, because one can is 30-35 grams of protein, and only around 200 calories.

Loved this video, mate. The 10-40 reps per muscle per week is a great guide that everyone should follow, especially people not in this program! And if you're not lifting heavy, there isn't much point. It's been the gamechanger mentality I needed to hear all those weeks ago!

Technique Tuesdays
Hi all. It was a pleasure joining into Joel's Technique Tuesday videos, where we look closely at specific muscle groups and how they are engaged in a workout. As a keen gym-goer myself, it particularly interests me to ensure I'm doing the right things and progressing healthily without hurting myself! We looked at pronated grip pull-ups this week (video shortly to come!), which was insightful regarding the quick progress one can make from starting with assisted (resistance band) to lifting bodyweight and beyond to lifting heavy circles! I encourage others to join in to the discussion and we can all learn off each other.
