I charge at least £40/hour and I am just a chippy! Where are you based Chris? Anywhere near West Sussex?
Now, if woke was more like this, I’d be on board.

Free LIVE Training - The DOSM (& what to do about it)
-- RENEGADES MEMBERS ONLY -- When: October 3rd @ 1:30pm Topic: THE DEATH OF SOCIAL MEDIA? – Free LIVE webinar with The Evil Bald Genius Unless you've been hiding under a rock or hiding in a cave for the last year, you'll know it's harder and harder to get social media and other inbound marketing to work for you. This was always inevitable but you chose to ignore it. Alas, the chickens are now coming home to roost. The good news is there are other (and better) ways to get business . They're old-school and I guarantee your competitors are not using them. It's true the bar to entry is higher than any other form of marketing and the set of skills required broader and more demanding. And this is why the vast majority of business owners shy away from them, and instead rely on ineffective "free" social media platforms. And that's why @Evil Bald Genius is holding The Death of Social Media Marketing, a free LIVE Webinar you can use as a springboard to get your old-school direct response marketing off to a flying start. This will be the first test at running events in this group, as promised weeks back. If you want them to continue, come along. If it goes well, I'll hold a Q&A a few weeks later. All the details you require to join us are inside the calendar tab. See you guys there. -Connor

@Connor Benham saw the original message and today’s follow up. I am on a course all week and unable to attend. This week I am mostly learning how to cut and pitch a timber frame roof like they was done since medieval times. (Just picture old wooden frame barns).

@Connor Benham it is pretty cool. There is some irony in the methodology. The methods are so simple they are genius. No numbers or formulae, no tape measures or power tools. I will catch the recording.
Welcome! Who are you?
Welcome to The Well Fed Renegades community, exclusively for our book buyers, where we are all on a mission to make more sales, to premium clients, at premium prices. Wish to join us? Invest in your copy of the M82 book by clicking here here If you've already ordered your copy, thank you. If you need any help with your order, using this site or accessing material please email holly@wellfedbusiness.com This exclusive community is just for M82 book owners. We've run free communities before and they sucked, so we've kept this one exclusive. It's full of business owners just like you, with battle scars, stories, and lessons to share. So engage, ask questions, and support each other. I'll be in this community every day ensuring you are getting the answer to any burning questions you may have. We created this community for two reasons: 1) I'm sure you've read a book before and wished you had an easy way to ask the author a question, or thought 'That's great! But how do I apply it to my situation/business?'. I know I have. So I created a community I wished every good book I've read had. In spite of EBGs reclusive nature, you can ask questions, get help, and most importantly get results. 2) It's an easy way to access 'The Most Unbelievable Free Gift Ever' that comes with every book purchase. Simply click into the classroom and you'll see it staring you in the face. If you want to work with us privately, you can book The Triage. It's a call with myself, so we can get clear on where you are, where you wanna go, and identify the roadblocks in your way. If it all goes well, I'll put you forward for a planning sessions with The EBG so you can get in the weeds together. Oh, and we'll never, ever sell to you unless you ask. That's a promise. You can book that here: https://wellfedbusiness.com/wall/ I'm always curious as to who the person is behind the order summary I get daily, so please, do me a favour.

@David Hegarty great intro and interesting business. Have a great time here and all the best for your endeavours.
The Audacity
So, passing a notable historic estate I noticed areas that require my services. I tracked down the estate management office and went on over. I noticed the offices of a historic restoration company in the next office. Contact details for absent estate director and the restoration director letting the office next door. 48hrs later and I have a meeting with the restoration firm that carries out the work on the estate - the good work on the estate. He also does work on buildings from Westminster to Salisbury and everything between. He now has a skilled craftsman carpenter/joiner in his people to call and I have new jobs booked in at four sites, great terms, slight resistance on pricing but acceptance ultimately. I am keen on every job presented. I start work on Central Hall - Westminster on Wednesday. A jackpot for our business after Instarted my meeting telling him he needed me, not, asking if I could help!

@Connor Benham it’s the well fed mind set that nurtured this. I was questioning how audacious a I was being in my way to the meeting and imposter syndrome kicking in too. Done now and I am starting to win!

@Connor Benham as yet, nothing. I started this a couple of weeks ago and many of my target market are listed properties are listed hisrtoric dwellings. This requires a fair bit of planning and red tape with consents and permissions required. Two replies first said they did not know they could have repaired their windows and joinery - spent time and upwards of £5k to get consent to replace windows which they realise will be more expensive to them. second recognised my card and then realised they are freinds with one of my clients, forgot about us until they saw our card and logo, had recently booked and paid deposit for another firm to do the required work. I did end up speaking face to face with another home owner - massive home - who told me she was looking for another carpenter joiner following the recent retirement of her tried and trusted carpenter. Old money, traditional attitudes and also very well connected with 2-3 of my exisiting clients. I am trying to devise a selection of articles for the website which describe the when, where and why of different systems of our work. the intention is to then make a quick and direct 'call to action' with regard to the prospect's needs in a similar style letter/leaflet. direct to website where longer versed description and required info is available. Adjust website to direct to contacts page and triage process begins. I do need to incorporate easier and more selective means of contact for those not proficient or confident in use of IT. the whole process is a slow burn and once ignited it will be like glowing embers on a long lasting fire - we do not need very many perfect clients - they naturally feed other work, know each other and like to be able to say "my caprenter". Too much at once is not sustainable for the skill and experience required so alongside this we are trying to create a base for developing new talent and utilising existing talent to acheive a high standard and specific works program (SOPs).
