Introduction
(Name/Nickname) Ben (Location) Okinawa (Biggest Strength) Normally I say "grit" to this answer, but recently I've stopped some less than rewarding activities. At this moment I would answer with "Self awareness". (Current "Future" Strength) Better time management to accomplish more rewarding goals. (What Inspired You to Join the TRT) Listening to MC's stuff for a while, need to get out of a recent funk.

Welcome!
Why blind men argue over elephants
The parable of The Blind Men and The Elephant goes... A group of blind men heard that a strange animal, called an elephant, had been brought to the town, but none of them were aware of its shape and form. Out of curiosity, they said: "We must inspect and know it by touch, of which we are capable". So, they sought it out, and when they found it they groped about it. The first person, whose hand landed on the trunk, said, "This being is like a thick snake". For another one whose hand reached its ear, it seemed like a kind of fan. As for another person, whose hand was upon its leg, said, the elephant is a pillar like a tree-trunk. The blind man who placed his hand upon its side said the elephant, "is a wall". Another who felt its tail, described it as "a rope". The last felt its tusk, stating the elephant is that which is hard, smooth and "like a spear". They all had their own ideas, but none could see the whole elephant. _____________________________ The earliest tellings of that tale date back over 2500 years ago, so when I say this is "old wisdom", I mean it. So, my question to you is... Are YOU a blind man arguing over elephants? Maybe. Maybe not. In my experience, though, most think the dilemma is resolved if all are told what the elephant is, whereas I'm determined to help people see. The "elephants" of today are tech hacks, longevity secrets, get-rich-quick schemes, and more. The one approach that will always bring sight to the blind, however, is a balanced life, an open mind, and a never-ending gratitude for the opportunity to play this game

Well said
advice
Good afternoon. I'd be grateful for some help making a decision. I have been looking to transition to cybersecurity for some time. I now found a way to do that using the Techpreneurs Club (www.techpreneursclub.io). I've had a couple of Zoom meetings with them, including a recent graduate of the program who got a job five months after starting the program. Here is a brief overview of what they do (offer foundational training, set up internship, offer interview coaching, send out resumes, negotiate job offers): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZFZrN12RYw (starts at 1:50 in the video). The downside of the program is that it's very expensive (35K). I'm not sure what decision to make. I could do this program while I work and take on the debt upfront or take cheap classes at a local community college (or do certifications on my own) and apply for internships and jobs myself. This program could either be too big of a financial risk or the pressure-to-power that I need right now. Not sure. Have a good day and thanks for your help.

Happy Holidays!
We walk the Three Roads because we refuse to settle for the path offered by the weak, disconnected, and saboteurs of our power! So, whatever you celebrate... so long as you're grateful, moving, and hungry for more... I CAN DIG IT!
