Let's say someone uses my link to create their community, and I see them in the affiliate area. Will I still see the community there, if it is sold?

I’m all for helping more groups get discovered, but can someone please explain to me why the new discovery algorithm ranks an abandoned group like “B2B Scale” higher than “Accelerator University”? #200 - B2B Scale → https://www.skool.com/scale-your-b2b-company-3858/about #221 - Accelerator University → https://www.skool.com/acceleratoruniversity (See attachments.) “B2B Scale” vs. “Accelerator University” Status → "Private" vs. "Public" Members → 46 vs. 7,470 Online → 1 vs. 130 Ranks → #200 vs. #221 “B2B Scale” has 46 members, and only 1 is online, yet it is ranked #200 by the new algorithm. In addition, the creator of “B2B Scale” hasn’t even been active and last posted in May 2024. In comparison, my group, “Accelerator University,” is one of the most active groups on Skool. We have 7,470 members and 130 are online now. I’ve been highly active for the last 9 months. One of my latest post has 61 comments and 53 likes. I’m creating quality content and connections. If this new algorithm is supposed to reward retention on Skool, then something seems wrong. @Nivas K @Sam Ovens @Andrew Kirby @Eric Rodriguez @Sid Sahasrabuddhe

Before: The same groups showed every time you visit (meaning a few groups grow) After: Different groups show every time - try refreshing (meaning lots of groups grow) Before: Primarily focused on quantity (posts, comments, members) After: Primarily focused on quality (retention, engagement, members keep visiting) Before: One overall ranking (painting groups compete with business groups) After: Different rankings per category (each category competes with itself, evening the playing field) - Check it out and see what you think for yourself: https://www.skool.com/discovery. I think it reveals some really wholesome groups. - Note 1: Retention doesn't just apply to paid groups. If members regularly visit a free community for long into the future, that means you have good retention! We reward groups with high retention. Note 2: For more information we have three help docs. Note 3: "We're fixing some bugs with the new discovery algorithm so things may change over the next few days. Don't read too much into the current rankings till the dust settles. For users, it's frustrating to get your post deleted and not know why. For admins, it's frustrating to have to constantly explain why you're deleting someone's post. So Skool now has "Delete With Reason"! When you delete someone's post or comment you can now select which rule they broke and even give some additional feedback. If you select a reason or give feedback, the user will be emailed (see below). If you don't select a reason or give feedback, the user will not be emailed. Hope this helps.
