How do you explain skool?
I get asked a lot “what’s skool” and I feel like I answer it different every time. Always explaining different things like “it’s kind of like a Facebook group but you get paid”. So I’m curious; How do you explain skool?

It is one of the only places, certainly on the internet, where everybody spends their time building each other UP, as opposed to tearing each other DOWN. So refreshing!
Want more engagement in your community?
Let’s go over some easy ways to get your engagement flowing in a positive direction. 👇🏻 Drop your struggles, or if you have tips and tricks drop those too, so we can all grow! Struggling getting peeps engaged when they are coming from other platforms? Make sure you • Have a start here module • Have questions set up if it’s a free space • Ask them in the auto dm to download the ap Those three things are imperative, because the questions will give you specifically what to post on if you ask what their biggest struggle is and what their dream goal is. Downloading the ap and a start here module help them get the lay of the land here in this new to them space so they know what’s what, and the ap is key for mobile users coming to this space. You have peeps in your space but no one is engaging, or they might engage with your posts but not with each other? Check out this post to see if you need to switch how you are posting from I centered to community centered. Then try having some fun and posting things that require low effort engagement… i.e. leaving GIF responses or a photo. You can tweak it to be niche related as well • post a photo of your workspace • weekend plans • wins post • GIF describing how you feel about _____ Then you can also think about making sure you have things behind the leaderboard levels you peeps actually want, it may not be more classes 😉 If you don’t know what they want… ask them. If they aren’t in the community engaging, dm them… if they haven’t been on the platform since they joined try emailing them or finding them on other platforms to find out what’s going on and what they most want and put that in the skool community. When you are first building your space, it can be tricky and more work, don’t let that stop you. Dig the fuck in and keep going, I promise it’s bloody worth it 🚀

1. Ask them in the auto dm to download the ap. Could I get a walk through on how to do this? I tried, but I can't seem to find the clickable clickey things to make that a request in my community. Thanks again, as usual!
Level Unlock procedure
Hello, everyone! I could use some help on the "Course Unlocks at (x) level" procedure. Where do I click to activate that level lock/unlock feature? As always, thank you in advance for the incredibly valuable advice! Cheers!

Has Skool transformed your online communication?
On social media, we tend to comment briefly or not at all. Many of us still remember the days of forums, where we engaged in writing longer, more thoughtful posts. Looking back, how has Skool influenced your online communication? What differences have you noticed? What stands out? Please share your experiences. lg Calvin 🫡

I definitely write WAY MORE on Skool than on any other online platform! The subject of each community demands it, but more importantly, the response one gets from the peer group here is fan-fuc*ing-tastic! Whether it's tips on how to dress more stylishly, how to grow vegetables more holisitcally, or just a forum for goofy jokes, the usual "troll" unpleasantness simply doesn't have a home here! Everyone is just super nice to each other, and questions about content/features are met with genuine, useful, tangible advice and assistance! GO US!
I could use some advice
My community has stagnated. It started off VERY promising, with 48 members in the first 2 weeks. Since then, however, I'm having trouble getting people to actually engage with me/the other memebrs. My prompts, questions, posts, and courses are there, but people aren't using/responding. Does anyone have any tips for getting people to participate? My community is free, I have offered prizes, and I've tried to "spark" conversation by introducing neutral discussion topics just to get people going. Discouraging, for sure! Thank, fam!

All of these are good suggestions, especially the "influencer" idea. There IS an individual in my group who may attract a larger audience than little ol' me... I will consider reaching out to her. You guys are THE BEST! Cheers!
