Day 6 - Max Monday
Max Monday’s are all about maximizing the day to set up the rest of the week for success. AND ALSO… because the theme is max, we are going to be doing a max effort something every Monday! So, this max Monday challenge is….. Max plank hold! How long can you hold a plank?! Elbows (harder version) or hands (push up position/easier version) pick one and give it your all! Moving on with maximizing the day.. So many people get the Monday blues feelin’ bummed when it’s Sunday night already. How cool would it be if everyone looked forward to Monday’s?! I know that’s a lot easier said than done, but you already know it’s coming so why not make it the best it can be?! What is something you already implement first thing on a Monday to set your day and/or week up for success?! I would like some suggestions and thoughts from everyone here. It can be on ANYTHING! Here is an example: I know a lot of people meal prep lunches/dinners for the week, so that sets them up for success in eating healthier and saving money throughout the week and not going out to lunch etc.. things like this are what I’m looking for! I definitely know I could use something that would help me focus for longer periods at a time. I’ve tried a bunch of different things, but nothing has quite stuck yet. I honestly love Monday’s. I love the feeling of coming off of the weekend refreshed and ready to keep taking steps towards my goals. So, rather than being bummed the weekend is over, I focus on it being the recharge I need to make the week as accomplished as possible, but that starts dwelling down drastically by Wednesday. So, I’m working on implementing new ideas to get that momemtum through the rest of the week! Ps. Currently on a plane and I’m slacking on my plank and will do it first thing in the morning and post my time!

Max Monday starts by smashing a workout at 5am before work. I usually have an active rest day Sunday so I'm super excited for that early morning cf class in the morning 💪

Day 4 - Something Saturday
Happy Saturday to all my favorite people! Today is a day of something dedicated TO YOU, BY YOU. Something Saturday is a day that YOU will find something that you look forward to doing, or something you’ve been holding off on. The key to this something Saturday, is it should be something productive as well. Maybe that’s getting some movement in and you treat it like a ‘something is better than nothing’ type of day. Maybe it’s getting a few extra pages read in that book you love so much. Maybe it’s taking an extra hour working on that side business or blog you’ve wanted to start. Maybe it’s getting that laundry folded that’s been sitting there for 3 days (why do I do this? haha) Maybe it’s going on a special date with the significant other or grabbing a coffee with a friend! ←- This is productive in the sense of maintaining and managing good/healthy relationships, just be mindful of the conversation! The options are ENDLESS - but it’s SOMETHING that YOU do for you that moves you forward in some area of life and is an accomplishment of some sort that has The key is not letting it be a complete lazy day that is filled with sitting on the couch and binging shows etc… you get it. It can be 5 minutes or 5 hours! Time should not be a limitation of NOT starting. 5 minutes of laundry folding can lessen that anxiety of staring at it all day. "SOMETHING" Share with us all what fun something you’re going to be doing today! Mine - is 1. Writing out our day for tomorrow and 2. focusing on having a great breakfast because I am competing today and prioritizing going to bed early so I can be the best I can for my last day of competition tomorrow!

Good luck for your comp @Bryleigh Hansen we're all behind you! 💪 Saturday we have barbell club at crossfit in the morning, great start to the day with some solid lifting then me and my partner drove about an hour to walk around a lake and I organized a picnic for our lunch 😊

Today is Tuesday 1/23/24 and I'm embarking on what I feel like is such a great experience to create a community of like-minded people who at the end of the day, just want to be happy, stress less and create a life they enjoy. This community is meant to inspire you, challenge you, make you think and create an improved mindset, create habits, unlearn bad thought processes, make you laugh, challenge your body in quick challenges (this one will be fun!!) and last but not least, help you make new friends (we all know that's a hard task as an adult haha) Everyone in this group will be uplifting and encouraging to all members who join and help celebrate everyone's small wins because celebrating the small wins are what helps boost motivation and excitement to wake up the next day and do it all again, but even BETTER! Each week will have themes and I'm quite stoked on it honestly!🤩 Here they are: -Max Monday's -(ok, so Tuesday's are still in the works as what I want to call them, but rest assured this will be figured out by next week!) -Wisdom Wednesday's -Just a thought Thursday's -Five minute Friday's -Something Saturday's -Silent Sunday's There's your glimpse at what the future holds for the structure of the group and everything that's about to come!
