@Cate Stillman I had the powder, not capsules, somehow I had understood that capsules were to be avoided. So I was literally drinking the malic acid (diluted in a little water), 1 tsp a day. It was intense!
Liver detox
I had not taken note that we needed to wait 30 minutes after malic acid to eat, and have not paid attention to that. @Brenda Green do you know if this will have an impact? I want to flush tonight. Also, when I click on the lick for the liver flush guide, I get an error message -- is anyone else having that problem? I want to make sure to read it again!

Are you “In it?”
Just left the natural food store and normally I want a little truffle or treat when I leave. Day three FMD. Feeling tits and no truffle or snack looked appealing. This is how I know I’m “IN IT”. How do you know? Power hour today w/ Brenda and I. See you soon! 😍

I can't be there so I'll check in here :). I wish I'd feel that "in it". I'm on Day 4. Experimenting with a different pattern than yesterday, I tried to eat most of my calories midday (thanks @Shea Lehnen for explaining why this is important yesterday!), leaving only 100-150 for tonight. But I'm craving food! It all looks good! I love the quiet mind today though. Very hungry, but relatively calm. I find it easier to completely fast because at one point hunger disappears (like, I was not so hungry all morning, before eating, but now that I ate, I just want more!). I'll see how it unfolds.

Day 5 is much harder for me. Yesterday went fine, I was even optimistic. But today I feel just incredibly irritable and hungry. I have no patience whatsoever. Wondering if this is some pitta on its way out, or a sign that I should up calories a little. And/or a sign that there is too much demands on me at this time where I would like to turn inward. I don't sleep well either with FMD, so I guess a lack of sleep too. Glad it's the last day .
Sleep troubles with fasting
I've been extending my fasts from 16hrs to 18+ hrs ...usually finishing my last meal around 3:30 or 4pm and i'm struggling to sleep. I have early dinner/early to bed/early to rise habituated for many years now and last night i was tossing and turning until 12:45 and finally had to eat half an apple with tahini. I was really wanting to start FMD today and now I'm nervous I won't be able to sleep. I'm Pitta/Kapha

I have the same problem. I ended up not eating too early and making dinner substantial enough (so not really following the ideal early+light dinner recommendation) because sleep is precious too. I am more vata. Curious what Cate or mentors will say. However, on FMD, I just accept that sleep is messed up for a few days.

@Sandy Tetreault Depends how much you take in a day. Mg can be hard on the digestive tracts and cause cramps.
