Lead Generation
Someone may have already suggested this, but have you thought about finding leads on Nextdoor? Nextdoor is a neighborhood community app that allows neighbors to communicate and get to know each other. You can also create a business page. There's always someone on there looking for all kinds of services. Over the years, I've personally hired people on Nextdoor for roof repair, fence repair, lawn maintenance, plumbing, and a/c work. You can use Nextdoor in conjunction with knocking on doors. They are strict on advertising in the general comments area, but if someone is asking for help, you can definitely offer your services. What's also nice about Nextdoor is that you have access to your local area, so you won't have to worry about responding to someone who is outside of your local area. You should be able to find the app on both ios and android, but if you have trouble, just enter nextdoor.com on your browser to join.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to introduce myself. I am Ross Riker, me & my family just moved to Dallas Forth Worth metroplex from South Florida (Yes we miss the beaches), but for our family this is a better place to raise a family. I found GCU via Brett on YouTube, our stories are very similar. I am starting my new career as a Project Manager for New View Roofing (as well as starting a gutter cleaning/service business to go hand & hand with Roofing) so if anyone is in the DFW area & wants to connect/network, I am all for helping grow each other's business. Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi Ross, welcome aboard!
Hello every one
I’m about to start knocking doors for the first time and leaving flyers to the ones that don’t answer I made these flyers myself going the diy route for now until I actually have a budget to have them made professionally any insight about what I could switch up would be awesome I won’t get my feelings hurt

Canva (canva.com) is a free (and paid) desktop publishing program that could help you make you professional looking flyers. It has a small learning curve, but it's definitely not difficult to use. If you have a chance, take a look at it. The free version is really good and is sufficient for what you need to do.
Hi everyone,
I'm Nancy. I am a career strategist. One of your YouTube videos came across my thread, and I wanted to learn more. I have a couple of clients that are in your line of work, and I thought that joining the group would help me learn more about the industry and how I can better help them. I look forward to learning and meeting everyone.
