Update about my YouTube channel. Want to start your own?
I was hesitating for a long time to start a YouTube channel about AI art. I didn't want to be on camera or use my voice. I had faceless channels before, about Minicraft and meditation music. But to build a brand, you kinda need a face. Then I came up with the idea of a video avatar and created my talking avatar, Stella Sky, and this problem was solved. At least this one. Still, I had no idea how to make the videos and what topics should I cover. But you have to start somewhere, so I made my first video about Midjourney's Sref styles 0-19. I saw similar videos on other channels and thought it was a good idea. You can make a big series out of it and if your audience is interested in this, they can watch more of it! My 2 latest videos are getting viewsโnot viral, but still good for a small channel! One video is about the price release of Kling AI. This video generator is getting very popular, so the topic is hot. The second video is about Midjourney's V 6.1 release today, also a hot topic. I think this will be a good mix of AI news, tips, tutorials and collections of styles or art genres. If you have any ideas, what else I should cover, let me know! I am thankful for suggestions! In the first 10 days, I got 76 subscribers and 19 watch hours, which is awesome! To get monetized on YouTube, you need 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of watch time. This is a lot... or one viral video away. But I will promote my own products on this channel and grow my newsletter subscribers, so this channel will be much sooner profitable. Would you like to start your own channel about AI? Would you like to hear more about my progress and strategies on that topic? Let me know in the comments!
