Selling Online Event [September 24-26]
I am curious to know who here is already signed up and also promoting the event as an affiliate? As I am gearing up to go full steam ahead over the next 2 weeks to promote this event, I thought I’d share some of my strategy with you. I was able to enroll over 60 people last month using this method and made $6k with a very short promotional window. Before we get into it, set your target. How many sales is a big stretch for you? It could be 5… 10… 100… Choose a goal that makes you a bit uncomfortable, believe in yourself, and go for it! Remember, this isn’t about selling someone. This is about sharing your excitement and belief that this will work for them to grow their business. Find out what they’re working on, get curious about them and invite them to join you as an accountability partner/group. Step 1: Sign up for the event if you haven’t yet. I only believe in promoting things I’ve experienced and know will enhance and expedite my audiences results. It’s much easier to promote something that you have experienced before and can talk about your positive experience with excitement. This event won’t be a one time thing, keep promoting it through the end of the year and beyond! IMO it’s the easiest $100 commissions I’ve ever seen. Step 2: Create a bonus when people sign up with your affiliate link. Think about how you can create a better experience for them to implement what they learn in this event. Example: Group accountability, notes, webinar slide template, daily group debriefs on Zoom, feedback on their work, help them run their first or next one-to-many sales presentation, etc. Step 3: Work top down when making your invites. A lot of people will only focus on reaching new audiences that don’t really know them yet. Instead, reach out to your current customers, past customers, online peers, and your most engaged audience members first then you can focus on expanding your reach through content, email, ads, etc. Step 4: Create your promotion schedule. Write a series of posts, emails, run a series of free trainings, create reels, stories, and have a clear call to action to join the event.
