How do you video recording yourself playing guitar?
I'd like to create digital music videos. I can screenshot my computer screen when recording guitar or vocals into a DAW but how do you get an external camera to focus on your hands in motion? How do you do it? How can I do this without spending thousands of dollars on a new iPhone, DSLR or Mirrorless Camera?

@Rob Vieira thank you. Any particular cameras? Maybe a GoPro that records 4k and then 1 DSLR, 1 mirrorless and one iPhone 15pro max camera on stands? Lighting at cool 5000k? I like the 60fps tip! Thank you for your input!

What HEADPHONES for Mixing?
I like Steinberg headphones but was tempted to Beyerdynamic DT770 because I need another pair of headphones. I had a conversation with a studio musician and he told me he started using his Apple ear pods. He loves using them for recording professional guitar tracks and playback. It made me think I might be missing something because I still use headphones while recording and also mixing. What are your thoughts about headphones and which ones do you like the most?

What's your DAW?
What DAWs is everyone using and why did you choose that particular one or more? Mine is Steinberg Nuendo 4.3. I also just got FL Studio.

@Phillip Patterson I considered getting an older mac pro, the Apple Mac Pro Late 2013 - 2019. It is the cylinder shaped one -- not the old cheese grater style. Reviews lean towards thinking it was and continues to be a workhorse and is easily upgradable to a max of 128G RAM, etc. I also started reading about eGPU's. However, at the end of my research, I didn't buy one and just decided to stay current and focus on the creative aspects of composing, recording, etc... with the current versions of DAW's that have tech support. Sometimes a great tech support person can save me days of frustration!

I bought myself another guitar because I was always curious about Gretsch guitars. I am looking at the box and almost afraid to open it... lol. Gretsch G2622 Streamliner
