Farmer's Carry Challenge Day 20!!
I lost 4 days there, 3 for travel and completion of an orienteering event, which I and my team did really well by-the-way, 2nd Place out of 10 strong teams, and I lost 1 day to getting my face cut with some biopsies and pumped with lidocaine, sort of sucked. Today, one 40# Kb, 1/4 mile, combo of suitcases, racked, and goblet carries. This crazy challenge is making me stronger in unforeseen ways. I am digging it! Looking forward to see what the coach has in mind for the 30 day transformation challenge!

Continuing Farmer's Carry Challenge @ Day 15
with 25# kettlebells, 1/2 mile, seemed easy after the previous weeks of heavier weights but walked a bit like a drunken sailor for this 1/2 mile. Yesterday, pushed hard at the orienteering meet, ~ 15 miles, mixed trail and cross country, came close to clearing the course.

@Gerald Balsam factors are: control points visited, time, and not coming in late, for which usually it is minus 1 point for every minute late. Our event was 6 hours, so had we come in at 6 h 10 min... our point score would have been 16 rather than 26.
Absent for a few days...
Traveling to and competing in a orienteering meet this Sunday; map and compass running/mountain biking.

@Gerald Balsam We covered about 15 miles, about 1/2 on trails, about 1/2 cross country semi-difficult terrain, climbed around 2000' of elevation gain, and checked off 26 out of 28 control points in just under the six hours. We took 2nd place, we kicked ass. Then walked around today farmer carrying like a drunken sailor.

@Gerald Balsam It is number of control points, then the time. If you and I were competing and we both visited 18 control points but you came in 10 sec before me, you win.
