Meet the Human Dolphin (Impromptu Q&A - REPLAY)
We just spotted the human dolphin in his natural habitat - and sources say, he went live yesterday. Our camera team has been able to capture the moment on camera, and you can watch the replay here. Also, keep tabs on the calendar in case we spot the human dolphin again: https://www.skool.com/breath-hold-challenge/calendar Enjoy 🐬

REPLAY IS LIVE! For everyone that could not make it last night (it was impromptu after all), or if you just would like to watch the call again, here is the replay:

Here is the image that I discuss at the end of the call (last 5 minutes):
Breath Hold Times - July (Post ALL Times here)
The first monthly Breath Hold Time thread - with many more to come. Post your daily breath hold times & share your experiences here. Encourage & congratulate others - we will all be dolphins by the end of the month! We'll pick a monthly winner at random who will win a lucky prize (woo-hoo!). It's not based on how high you score (because... it's YOUR personal journey - so it does not matter if you hold only for a minute and someone else for 3 minutes).

@Bård Antonsen Yes, it's a good idea to focus on something else, and to remember that the sensations you feel are good, it is your body doing what it is supposed to be doing - responding to the changes.

@Woodrow Agustin Harley Great result, and going for a max hold is time intensive, so just doing smaller breath holds in between or taking a day break is an excellent idea. I hope that the challenge was able to inspire you.
Will You Help Us Break 1.000 Members Tonight?
What is a revolution without friends? For those who joined us on the first day of the month (or even sooner), you have all felt the change. Fighting the strongest reflex in life - life itself - unlocks a hidden superpower within you. It would totally unfair to keep this from people, especially those who need it the most. So, I ask for your help in sharing the message to as many people as possible. Make it a friendly competition. Who is the dolphin among your friends? 🐬 (P.S. Since you are already in this group, you got a head start) How do you share? Just send or post the link to our group: → https://www.skool.com/breath-hold-challenge/about It's easy as pie! And it would be much appreciated 🙏

How Long Can YOU Hold Your Breath? (Leaderboards Explained)
Hi there, Polar Bears. How's it chillin'? One of the nifty features of Skool is the leaderboard. You can find it in the top navigation bar of the 7-Day Breath Hold Challenge page (see image). For the biologists and animal lovers among us, you'll understand the animals linked to each level. That's right - the order is based on how long each animal can hold their breath under water. Now, how do you go from a polar bear to a sea turtle? The answer is: sharing & posting quality stuff! Every single time someone likes your post, you get a point. Each level requires a certain amount of points to level up. (click the question mark under your profile picture to see the exact amount) New levels also mean new features! For instance, when you become a Sea Otter, you can message each other (this is mostly to keep those spammy Polar Bears from sending unsolicited ads) If you level up to a Dugong, you can migrate to the Discovery Masterclass, and of course, when you reach the Dolphin level, you can learn how to train Superhuman Lungs. We are still playing around with the rewards for the other levels, as well as winning the weekly/monthly leaderboards. Rewards may be subject to change. The goal of this community that we help each other. So be kind, and give your fellow polar bear a like when you can. We'll be a bale of sea turtles soon enough. So, are you ready to level up? ACTION: Post your current level (and feel free to come back every time you reach a new level).

Why is my breath hold time so different from day to day?
Once you got the basics down pat, breath holding is primarily a mental game. How long can you push back to the most powerful reflex in life: to breathe? If you had a bad night’s sleep, anticipate a stressful day at work or feeling under the weather, you’ll notice it in your breath hold times. Your breath hold time is like a snapshot of your state of mind. If you notice that you are consistently doing worse and can’t explain why - don’t be too hard on yourself, accept the times for what they are and understand that some problems take time to resolve. You may even notice a result in your breath hold times after doing so. Did you experience the same? Share your experience here, and how you got out of the rut. 🤘

@André None The swallow reflex is a very common occurrence. Most people have reported in the monthly post - although it usually kicks in sooner (same as the contractions). Since you almost hit 5 minutes, you already are pretty good at 1. getting relaxed 2. building CO2 tolerance. Understand that the swallowing part is nothing to be worried about, and experiment with the placement of the tongue and position of your neck and spine to see if it brings any relief.

@Ivan Omar Sanchez Guerrero I've seen a few people with 4 minutes and one person with 6 minutes. But don't stare too blindly at other people's times and feel bad if you are not there yet.
