GOAT or TBE ?

Agree with everything you said. Although I would also argue that Ali's impact on his entire generation culturally was also a significant contribution to his status as the GOAT...
Muhammad Ali or Floyd Mayweather?
I have a question, which leads into a discussion and qualification of skills. Ali is the GOAT, and Floyd is TBE. Is one better than the other? Who is truly the best and why? We can always talk about cultural impact and what they've done outside of the ring but I want to focus only on battle. Who was better at boxing? Who was better at fighting? and now the big one.... WHY? Why is one better than the other? Can it be measured and accounted for? That magic "something" should be something we can easily see if we stay objective. Let's talk about it

One of my favorite GOAT litmus test jokes that hold basis in truth is... "how many dudes would get jacked for their air Jordans vs how many dudes would get jacked for LeBrons..."

@Xavier Wilson I also agree. I will die on the hill that Mayweather is a boxer, not a fighter.
Understanding Overhands
Here is a look at how to train the overhand in WGB. Remember the overhand isn't a hook, it is an arc. Think of the opposite of an uppercut and you are getting close. Swiveling your head from the inside to the outside is where the centrifugal force is generated, this creates power in a way that doesn't come naturally to most. Practice this

@Xavier Wilson in your system, do you differentiate between an overhand and an overhook?
5 favorite boxers
Question for the group: Who are you 5 favorite boxers regardless of era? Mine are Hagler, Joe Louis, Terrence Crawford, Tommy Hearns, and Evander Holyfield

Jose Torres, Jack Dempsey, Mike Tyson, Roberto Duran, Mickey Ward. Honorable mention to John L. Sullivan and Floyd Patterson.
Favorite Punch
Question for the group- What is your favorite single punch to throw? Personally, it's a tie between the D'amato shift body hook and the Left Straight (what Dempsey referred to as a Jolt punch).
