Any replacements for Revolut and Wise card?
I see the Revolut is in the process of switching banks, and I already signed up for Wise in the US so now I can't use it in Vietnam. Any replacements for these two cards? I already have Charles Schwab. I need a second card and account to be safe. Update: I called Wise customer support and they said there should be no issues with using Wise card in Vietnam, even if it's issued in the USA. little confused as to what's going on for others atp. But I have one other back up so I appreciate y'all's help!

Getting a bank Account in Vietnam.
Has anyone from the states gotten a Vietnamese bank account? I have been using my Chase card withdraw cash and the ATM fees are not something I want to pay for long-term. Let me know if anyone has signed up for a bank account or found a way around this.

I have applied to TIMO Bank and they will have a card waiting for me in HCMC when I arrive in January. I just have to show my passport and Visa…So I’m hoping that goes well!

Motorbikes and Scooters Thread
I have watched extensive YouTube videos from Tigit Motorbikes and John states that Honda is best overall. Semi automatic is cheap to buy and cheap to fix and repair. The Honda Blade Is the best overall bike to tour all of Vietnam. It is the cheapest (about $1,000 USD) and most reliable bike. “you can wheelie it, jump it, and there’s no terrain the Blade can’t do.” John states that the Blade is, “Bulletproof and indestructible. It can carry two people and luggage across any mountain road in Vietnam. It is easy to fix, cheap to fix and fast to fix. Any shop in Vietnam can fix a Blade.” John toured the entire northwest area of Vietnam on a Honda Blade. It is a 110 cc, semi automatic, 8.5 hp, can cruise 60 mph, top speed 110 KPH (68 mph). Note: Mind the speed limits in Vietnam or you will pay the price.

Great, that’s answered another query I had about motorbikes in Vietnam👍 My girlfriend in HCMC reckons the Honda Blades are the best.
Best Banh Mi in Hanoi
Banh Mi 25 https://maps.app.goo.gl/qcXPaEfd6EUaXM9t6 It's very touristy and crowded, but for good reason. Hanoi is not particularly known for Banh Mi and this is probably the best spot in the city.

Motorbikes…Is it best to buy or just hire?? What is the best bike to buy? Repairs and maintenance process? The process of getting a Vietnamese drivers license for a motorbike, is it necessary? What happens if your picked up by a cop and you don’t have a licence? Hope this subject helps👍👍
