How do you gain new business?
Happy Monday Everyone 🌟 I have been tasked this week with brainstorming new business lead gen ideas and I am intrigued if anyone has any different or outside the box tips they use for gaining new leads and prospects that isn't just from a data source or email campaign? Thanks in advance πŸ’–

@Connie Higgins If there is a marketing budget for lead gen? If so business roundtable breakfasts have worked for me in the past. They are relatively inexpensive for about 10 -15 decision makers, a free speaker is easy to find either an existing client or an industry 'expert' who wants to increase their profile then you doing the intro and wrap up. The topic is a relevant issue. Gives you a reason to call prospects who aren't quite ready to go into a sales cycle yet.

I am in South East England and historically mainly sold technology services to SME and enterprise companies, though I have also dipped in and out of B2C of late. I am returning to sales after a break of 2-3 years in the past have struggled adopting a single sales methodology that works for me.
