Garden Suite ROI
I'm currently planning a new sf with 2 basement suites and considering whether to add a 850sf.ft garden suite. We're estimating the cost to be between $110,000 and $150,000. For those who have experience with this, do you think adding the garden suite will significantly increase the overall property value when we sell? Or is it likely that we won't see a substantial return on this investment? What would you do?

@Jag Hundal To give a little more info its 6,200 sq. ft. home (including garage) that includes two basement suites—each with two bedrooms, with the possibility of converting one suite into a three-bedroom unit. This raises a few questions: 1. Is there such a thing as having too many suites in a home? 2. When it comes time to sell, will the overall property value increase enough to justify the cost of adding the garden suite, especially given how high home prices already are?
