Let me guess. You have no idea what you’re worth an hour. Most entrepreneurs don’t. This is probably why you take up mundane tasks in your business that others should’ve done. And no wonder you feel like you should be much farther ahead in your business by now. It’s because you spend your time on low-return tasks that keep you broke. If you put a number to how much your time was worth, you’d realize the gravity of wasting it on things that don’t matter. So I made this calculator, that takes your income, calculates your efficiency, and spits out your hourly rate. It also shows what you could be making if you worked more or less, or if you increased your efficiency. Once I started using it, I stopped: - cooking my own food. - taking my afternoon nap. - doing repetitive tasks. - making my social media posts. - saying yes to social events. - washing my car myself. This was after I quantified the value of my time. As a result, not only did I start working more, but my efficiency also increased. The calculator is simple and easy to use. You’re a hard worker?? My a$$. Think about it. How many long hours slaving away at mindless tasks have you gone through…. Only to feel stuck. And be broke. And you think the solution is to “just do it bro” Or “just work more”. The real problem isn’t your motivation. You just don’t understand the work equation. Not the one you learned in school. But the one that has: - changed my whole perspective on business - changed many of my clients’ lives I swear… When I say knowing this is the most important thing… In your entire business timeline… I MEAN IT. And no, you don’t need to be Einstein to get it. Here it is: And here's the biggest predictor of work (impact): What you work on (prioritization) How much you work (time input) How much you get done in the time you work (efficiency) IMPACT = TIME INPUT x PRIORITIZATION x EFFICIENCY How much time you put in is one part. The others are equally as powerful. Stop wasting your time trying to work more. Start working on the right things. The things you avoid… The things that you’re afraid of. The things you replace with mundane tasks… PS. Your to-do list is crap. Use this one instead Writing this from behind bars. Made too much money Most to-do lists are long, needless, and incomplete. I’ve seen people have lists with 65+ items, most of them: - Too long - Too general - Always Incomplete Not this one. I swear when I say this is the first thing I open every morning when I start work. There is no better list I have found. And I have tried everything: - Legal Pads - Apps - Other BS you haven’t even heard of. All my VAs use it, I use it, my cofounder uses it. …and it has directly generated ALL our clients at least $0.10 (a whole dime) .
