🧩 What skill gap might be holding back your business's growth?
This question springs from Alex Hormozi's explanation about skill gaps preventing courses from translating into business success. @Leon Bechthold Yes, testing is absolutely crucial. Not getting butthurt about why something doesn't work, but rather taking everything as a learning opportunity. So what do you feel is missing in your conversion process? Is the volume ok?

@Leon Bechthold Yeah that is for sure something that can always be refined. Analyzing your data with A.I. there can be of great help. Just curious to see, man. Are you also finding yourself executing on everything that you're setting out to do in a day? Or sometimes procrastinating and stagnating?
Can I get a mentor to guide me on business matters?
I am Willys hoping to learn more from you all and also getting a mentor to guide me in the entrepreneurship journey.

@Willys Mwariri That sounds like a solid vision to me. So you're all about networking and learning from each other. Great Mindset you have there Willys. So what do you mean by facing market problems?

@Willys Mwariri Oh I see, so it's adjusting to different locations worldwide. Yeah people do have different ways to go about things in different places.

@Torsten Blass Honestly one of the most valuable things you can do is doing interviews. Setting up a 30 min Zoom call and asking them questions. In the end, you give them some advice and some resources so they can implement things already and have their minds blown by your service/product. This is super thorough and that's what I've done so far with all niches I've worked in. This is also great because in the end you can ask them if you can contact them again once the product is finished. 8 times out of 10 they will say yes. You've built trust, provided value and got immense feedback to implement.

DOING MORE!!! Inaction is the greatest form of procrastination. It is better to take action and make mistakes than to just be stagnant and do nothing at all! When I built my first e-commerce store, I made no sales for the first 3 weeks. At the time, I could not understand why, the website was built, the products were listed but I made no sales. However, during these 3 weeks, I sat there and waited 'hoping' that a sale would come. Alas, I finally realised that just hoping to achieve success was not the way to do it and it was time to take action! So I made tweaks, I changed my product descriptions, I tested different ads and experimented with the website, and two weeks later... I finally made my first sale. This in turn led to making my first $100,000 online! Lesson of the Story: Think Less, Do More! Wrong Actions is better than no Action at All!

@Tim Lüpke I will make it paid most probably, but I am not that experienced with this platform yet. Need to get a feel for it first. Nice man, that was probably really valuable there! And yes, I do benefit from Hormozi's teaching quite a lot. Yes I've had plenty. Productivity, Business, Mindset, Sales you name it. Basically reinvesting every bit of money I made into myself. Every time I took valuable things out of it. It's great. The entrepreneurial journey is quite amazing and self improvement happens almost by itself lol. Well have you ever experienced things like self sabotage in your journey?

Absolutely, self doubt and procrastination come from inaction. But it also stems from fear of success very often. That's what I found for myself, so I had to create something to deal with it. And I thought I'd share it here because maybe it helps someone else as well 😊 https://cloud-limburger-07b.notion.site/Self-Sabotage-d7b9e085b98946369609e5cc5d9d7bb6
What I should’ve done sooner
Yesterday, I had a pretty rough morning with my main potential client of that day not being the person I thought. However, that lesson ended leading to me doing my first cold call. From there, I ended up getting 12 no’s before I got to my first yes. And it was all because of the way I approached the call. In the beginning, I simply introduced myself and what I do, then quickly made my offer to them. However, that quickly revealed itself as an impractical way of leading a sale. After having got to the twelfth no of the day, I said “Screw this formal business man cr*p, I don’t care anymore, I’m going to be me here”. (This was a paraphrasing of a portion of a call I had with a client we’ll call John, John is a personal trainer who has delivered HUGE results for his clients.) And so I did that. They answered the phone, the guy said “This is John?” I said “Hi John, my name is Rudy, and I was reviewing your page on Google, and I have to say, RESPECT! The results that you’ve been able to give to your clients is outstanding my brother, well done! He responded with, “Thank you man I really appreciate that!” “Yeah man, of course! And so, John, another reason why I was calling you was because I’m a Growth Operator in (city), I do Copywriting and Web Design. I wanted to see if you were interested in some free work in exchange for a testimonial” He said, “That sounds awesome man, can you give me more of a description of what you do?” From there, I ended up driving the sale forward to a close. I then scheduled a call with him Thursday where we’ll go more in depth on the project. I then plan to go above and beyond the original deal. And continue to manage the relationship to the point where I’ve done so much for him, that he’ll say something like, “Dude, What can I do for you?!?!” And THAT’S when I’ll name my price. I then woke up this morning, went to school, came back home. And did the exact same thing with another prospect on the FIRST call of the day. Lesson of the day: Be personable!

Nice man! I had to realize that as well. Sales scripts for me don't work either because it comes off as way too robotic. Once I just roughly outline what I want to go through so I don't forget is more than enough. Then just having a conversation is so much better. Keep crushing it!
