Classroom Course Creator: Code Block

Hello everyone! When adding content to a page under the classroom course creator, has anyone fully exercised the ‘code block’ tool? I was attempting to insert a code snippet to add an interactive quiz, but it seems as though the ‘code block’ tool is purely for displaying code. Or perhaps I am simply using the tool wrong! I would greatly appreciate any input! Thank you!
