My community gets 3-5 member requests a day.
Here's how I've gotten to this point...
When I started my community in late May, I didn't add anything to the classroom. I mean yeah, I didn't know what the classroom even was at the time but that's not the point...
The point is, I created my community to engage with people and share my expertise. Not sell anything.
I spent the first month sharing as much value as I could and doing a lot of cold outreach to people who I felt would either add value to the community or would benefit from what I talked about.
Then, I started adding to the classroom.
This created a lot more buzz and engagement in the community.
Which boosted its search rankings (almost in the triple digits!) and drew more people to the community.
I revamped the onboarding so every new member has the opportunity to book a free call with me.
I still respond to every DM and post that comes through the community.
I may be up to 300 members by the end of the week!
Not gonna lie...
I feel this post was super messy ๐
But I hope it was helpful for anyone starting to build a community they have big plans for!
Have a great week, Skoolers!
