I know there are a few ways to structure the having a free Skool group, but then taking payment and delivering paid services using Skool. But I thought I'd ask y'all's opinion on the most straightforward for those of us who are very new and intimidated by all the different tools out there. I want a free group where community and support from one another is key. Do I: 1. Put the paid services into the free group, just giving access to paying customers who pay using stripe or other. The problem with that is that the services are daily zoom calls and although I know I can email them or dm them the link, I really like having it be just a click from the calendar. Having to go to their messages to retrieve the link is an extra step.
Another problem is that my mrr isn't reported to Skool (not that the games really matter to me).
Or
2. Have a free group and a paid group.
Disadvantages to that are: paying customers would have to check two different places- the group with their paid services, and the group with the robust community sharing. I want them to get the value of community from paid and free members. Which just means they have two groups to check. For instance the group Skool and the group the Skool Games. It's annoying to me to check both.
Also, I already struggle to have time to post good content, and having two groups, plus my Facebook group to post to feels like a lot for me rn.
And finally, that the free group doesn't see the regular reminders of what would be accessible if they took my offer. I would market within the group, but it wouldn't be right there in front of their face all the time.
I know there's other group platforms I can use like Kajabi (I don't know what the advantages or disadvantages of Skool are over Kajabi honestly). What do you guys do and what's the best way?
