How do you evoke emotion with your posts?

It’s what I like to call “evocativeness”. With it, you can evoke excitement, curiosity, or even nostalgia, evocativeness is what turns a piece of writing into an experience.

Are you giving your community an experience? Or simply a post?

One technique I use is to think about the emotions I want my readers to feel before I even start writing. Then, I choose my words and images carefully to make sure they reflect that intention.
