Every year in almost every industry, Black Friday is a time that consumers want to buy gifts to save money.
Most business run crazy cheap deals to get traffic in store or online. If consumers buy one item at deep discount (loss leader), they often feel less guilty buying something of greater value or not urgent.
I consider facials a loss leader. I drive traffic with face treatments and then create value with body treatments. I know the demand of body treatments will Increase in the new year. So now is the time to capture new leads with face treatments. Also it’s a great time to extra value to existing loyal clients with face teamsters.
I know holidays are really really busy and stressful for my target audience (working moms with grown kids) who will be hosting and entertaining).
I ran an early Black Friday promotion: 15% off anything, even large packages that are already discounted.
