Why
I wrote a why last sept in the 21 day class. As I reflected on the last 12 months and after rereading dr boz book, I wonder if I truly hit my why. As I reread the book Dr Boz said if we didn’t have the success we wanted one of two things have happened:
  1. We didn’t tap in to our why.
  2. We didn’t attach to a support group.
So that got me reflecting on my why. Last year I wrote about my grandkids and being a part of their lives but maybe there was another deeper why.
My wife is my why. We have been together 40 years. We have had 4 kids. They all live across the country. So most of the time it’s her and I against the world. She is my best friend. She is the one I want to spend time with and laugh at my jokes.
Her parents are gone, our kids live away, and if I were not here she would be alone. That thought breaks my heart. I earn the money, I pay the bills and she likes it that way. If I am disabled or gone, her world gets turned upside down. I need to get healthy for her. She is my world.

I love sharing my faith and story of recovery. How I live: first, I learn it, then I do it, then I teach it! With God all things are possible!
