Water fast excitement
I just started the clock on my 72 hour h2o fast. I’m hopeful that this might be the “secret sauce” to elevate ketones for my body. I had my first meal before class and then my second meal was just before starting, a super fatty coffee! I’m ready to go. Enjoy the ride and eat your fat, cheers all

Calories
Greetings all, There was a question or comment today about calories that I didn’t address. I have my tracker and Cronometer set to losing fat; I only use the indicated calories as an awareness item “upper limit” for my eating to satiation. I’m usually done eating 500 to 1000 calories below the fat loss calorie number, but if I ever approach (2-300 cal) this # and still have hunger, that’s when I ask the “SARDINE” question. The perfect 200 calorie hunger test. If I don’t want the fishy can then I just tell my body to go eat some of my stored fat. Great job everyone with the amazingly high ketone numbers and all the blood sugar reduction. Cheers all

Finished but not done
My fast ended at 06:15 but I had my last can at 06:30. I waited a bit and then had some roast beef and some cheese. I had a second small meal and started my fast at 11:30. Still “0” carbs, because I’m still looking for some higher ketone numbers. So far, the best I’ve had was a 1.7 and DBR 56. Possibly tonight… Cheers and sleep well

Last night
To bed at 10:30 and slept through until the dogs started barking at 04:48. I was awake so I started my day. I’m a well rested 6.

I’m 67 and looking to optimize my health, add muscle and decrease body fat. I’m still a “work in progress” but I like sardines, so I’m optimistic.
