Question about GSD!?!
One of the best parts of doing training with is the "get sh*t done" (GSD) aspect. You always know you will be 'doing' and not just learning and having to do the homework afterward. I love this so much. I know I will get the time to do the work. With that in mind, I want to redefine some of my programs with a "GSD" mentality.
MY QUESTION to you: Would these be helpful or feel overwhelming? Am I missing anything? Would this be helpful instead of having "homework?"
My ideal clients are professional leaders and high-achieving businesswomen take control of their fitness and health by applying the same strategic thinking they use for business success – making their wellness results efficient and manageable.
I have clients who do 1:1 personal training sessions online with me; in 30 minutes, they are done for the day and feel great. This is for the person who needs accountability and outsourced discipline. However, my 12-week Business Body Blueprint is about learning and implementing. I feel there is a lot of work to be done on their own, and this is where I want to apply the GSD concept.
Here are some of my thoughts (with the help of ChatGPT) in no particular order:
  • 15-Minute Workout Power Sessions
What: Lead a quick, high-impact workout together (HIIT, strength, or bodyweight).
Why: Builds accountability and shows them how they can fit effective workouts into their daily routines.
Result: They leave the session feeling accomplished and energized, ready to replicate it independently.
  • Live Meal Prep & Batch Cooking Sessions
What: Prep meals together in real-time, focusing on quick, healthy options.
Why: Helps them overcome the mental hurdle of meal prep and shows them how to streamline it.
Result: They walk away with prepped meals for the week and a plan they can reuse.
  • SMART Goal & WHY Planning Sessions
What: Work together to set SMART goals and define the deep "why" driving their health transformation.
Why: Goals are useless without clarity and personal motivation. These sessions align their goals with business principles.
Result: They walk away with crystal-clear goals and the emotional fuel to stay committed.
  • Time-Blocking for Health & Productivity
What: In this session, you'll time-block their calendar—scheduling workouts, meal prep, and self-care.
Why: Shows them how to prioritize health without compromising business or family time.
Result: They leave with a personalized, time-blocked schedule to follow each week.
  • Stress-Buster Strategy Sessions
What: Guide them through a stress-relief practice (breathing exercises, guided meditation, or journaling).
Why: It helps them manage stress efficiently and teaches quick, actionable techniques they can use anytime.
Result: They leave the session feeling mentally lighter and ready to integrate these practices into their day.
  • Closet Clean-Out & Grocery List Workshop
What: Help them purge unhealthy foods from their kitchen and create a grocery list based on their goals.
Why: It sets them up for success by eliminating temptations and giving them a clear shopping strategy.
Result: They walk away with a grocery list and action plan for healthy eating.
  • Body Metrics & Progress Tracking in Real-Time
What: Track body metrics and KPIs during the session—such as measurements, energy levels, or mental clarity.
Why: This creates immediate feedback loops, keeping them engaged and motivated.
Result: They leave with data-driven progress insights to adjust their routines accordingly.
  • On-the-Go Fitness Toolkit Setup
What: Help them set up a portable fitness kit (bands, bodyweight routines) they can use while traveling.
Why: Eliminates the excuse of being "too busy" or "on the road" to stay consistent.
Result: They leave with a go-to travel routine they can implement anywhere.
  • Obstacle-Busting Strategy Sessions
What: Identify common roadblocks they face (travel, busy weeks, stress) and co-create solutions.
Why: Proactively addresses excuses or challenges, ensuring they stay on track.
Result: They leave with ready-made solutions for their most challenging obstacles.
  • Quick Feedback Loop Sessions
What: During the session, help them adjust their fitness or nutrition strategies in real time based on what's working and what isn't.
Why: Avoids waiting for "next time" and creates instant course correction.
Result: They leave with a refined strategy they can implement immediately.
Any feedback would be welcome. (sorry for the lengthy message.... :)
