how to make people pay ❓❓❓

so im currently running a database reactivation offer, and its mainly all text and voicemail, since im in school from 9 to 4

I manually text, so its not like all 100% automated - but my question is

how do you get people to deposit a small downpayment (around ~$5) through text, so that theyre committed to showing up?

as in sending the link and asking them to put down a deposit?

because my process goes like this:

offer text -> ask for time they can come -> ask to fill in qualification form -> tell them theres small downpayment they need to pay

any help is GREATLY appreciated
