Foot injuries
Hey there, I’m looking for advice to prevent my toes getting messed up on people’s elbows or knees when teeping. I am probably at an early intermediate level. When I started light sparring I discovered that I have a pretty good teep and was able to land it at will on most sparring partners. Then people would shell up and I broke my toe on an elbow. When I got back to training I’ve been avoiding Teeps because my other foot has had a few light jams on knees and elbows and I don’t want another injury. Know I just don’t Teep. Does anyone have some guidance for me? Maybe I need to get better at distance management, fakes and set ups, positioning and timing before I throw?
