Hi everyone,
My name is Jachym, and I’d like to share my journey of discovering and building a strategy that completely transformed how I approach client acquisition.
You might relate to this: organic content takes ages to deliver results, cold outreach doesn’t feel right or isn’t effective enough, and you’re stuck searching for a way to attract “warm” leads. That was me not too long ago. I run an agency specializing in fashion e-commerce and spent a long time trying to scale client acquisition without wasting time and money on ineffective strategies.
🎯 First Attempt: Free Lead Magnet
At first, I tried the classic lead magnet approach—I created a resource of creative materials for fashion e-commerce brands, offering value for free. It generated interest, but there were two major problems:
1️⃣ Most of the leads weren’t relevant—they just wanted the freebie and had no intention of investing in my offer.
2️⃣ Ad costs outweighed the profit from the high-ticket service I was selling.
I realized this wouldn’t work. How could I scale when every lead was costing me more than I’d ever earn back?
💡 Breakthrough: Micro Offer
That’s when it hit me: What if I offered the same resource for a small price—low enough to break even on ad costs but high enough to filter out freebie-seekers?
➡️ This way, I’d have an unlimited ad budget while attracting people who were actually interested in my niche and willing to spend money.
I won’t lie—it didn’t work at first. I learned the hard way that having a great product isn’t enough; you also need to know how to persuade people to buy it. I dove deep into funnel strategies and squeeze pages, tested different ad creatives, and after several failed attempts, I finally cracked it.
📈 Here’s How It Works Now:
1️⃣ Ads: I run Facebook ads promoting my micro offer. These ads direct people to a page where I explain the value and sell the product at a price that just covers the ad spend.
2️⃣ Leads: By doing this, I generate leads, warm them up with high-value content, and collect their contact info—effectively “paying” nothing to acquire them.
3️⃣ Email Sequence: After a purchase, an automated email sequence builds trust further.
4️⃣ Filter & Outreach: Finally, I ask leads to fill out a survey (offering something valuable in return), which helps me handpick the clients I want to work with.
The Results?
✅ My calendar is (almost 😅) fully booked with ideal clients.
✅ I now have an automated system running in the background, allowing me to focus on my agency. ✅ I can scale easily by offering upsells tied to the micro-product and reinvesting the profits into ads.
🔥 Why I’m Sharing This
I wanted to share what I’ve learned throughout this journey. I feel this system could help many of you—especially since setting it up isn’t as complex as it seems. I also believe in giving back. If I can help someone here, maybe down the line, someone more experienced than me will return the favor. 😊
What about you? What client acquisition strategies have worked best for you? I’d love to hear about your experiences and get inspired by your ideas! 👇
Looking forward to the discussion and hoping we can exchange tons of valuable insights here. 🚀
